Zombie Apocalypse (roleplay)

I heard a huge explosion in the distance. "So it has begon..." I thought. This was it, I just hope the rest is safe over there.

A big mushroom cloud was forming in the sky it was clear that day, so it could been seen from quite a distance.

"Should I get back to the group? Or should I stay.?" That was pretty much the only thing that I thought of.

I arrive back at camp with a fine buck slung over my shoulders "got some fresh meat"

OOC: Yah, day time :3 Also, LOLFINEBUCK

IC: After getting a good night's sleep (the first in a long time might I add) I got out of my tent and stood in the blistering cold.

"Wouldn't it be easier if we found an exsistinghouse to live in instead of freezing cold tents?!", I suggested, rubbing my arms in hope that they would warm up.

I wake up and walk out of the tent after getting dressed. I saw Anna was outside. "Well, it would be easier for us to find houses; but then, we'd run into the problem of zombies. Most of the houses are either close to or in a city..and I don't expect to find any isolated houses here in Alaska. We came here to get rid of the zombies in the first place..we should start building our igloos as they will keep us warm, even though they'll be made out of snow." I say. It wasn't snowing anymore, and the sky was clear. "Look, you could even see the sun" I say. "Although I don't think we may be able to see the sun regularily; it will snow a lot here. After all, it's Alaska." I say as I go get the shovel to start digging the snow up to make it softer for our igloos.

I still laid in my tent. But I heard everything. "Igloos? Were not eskimos, you know?! A bit whacking and we could take over a small farm. We could even find stuff there."

*wakes up and yawns*
*steps outside to alex and Everett's conversation*
Were going on hershel's farm?

hey i thought of an idea to help keep us warm while we sleep
all we have to do is put hot water in a couple of water-bottles and we just put em by our sleeping bags.
im gonna go for a quick run.
*pulls hair into a ponytail and starts to jog off.

"Comon now, igloos? Those will take ages since none of us will have ever made one before and I don't fancy freezing to death first.. Surely in Alaska there must be lone wood cabins, right? You see them all the time on TV and in movies."

*after a bit i find an old abandoned town*

*sees theres barely any zombies*
*sees a sports shop*
*walks inside and looks around*
*sees a couple of 4 wheelers*
*hops on one and heads back to camp*

I wake up and crawl out of the tent. "I could kill for some chocolate waffles right now." I say as I stretch.

I wake up and get out.

"Yeah, haven't had a good breakfast in a while."

I open the storage compartments of the bus using my remote, and I notice they don't open. I try opening them again and they don't open. I walk inside the bus where it was warm; the radiators were open all night. I open the storage compartments from there, inside the bus, and they open. I make up a large table with the chairs still left in the bus by laying them down and I lay a clean sheet over them. I go to the previously-opened storage compartments and I take out various food we still had; we had deer meat which is still fine and we also had lots of bread. But other than that, lots of apples, oranges and mainly fruits. We also had potatoes. We even had some twinkies. I walk outside to set up the fire with the remaining planks we had, and I notice we ran out of planks. I light the fire and say, "We ran out of wood. There's a forest in our north and a mountain in our west, at about 20 km each. Here's how we'll do it: some of us will go check the mountain to see if we could by any chance move our camp there; it looks like it's protected by the wind and there may be some caverns that we could camp in or close to. The wind and snow are our main disadvantages here..zombies aren't. Two of us will be going in that forest to cut down wood for firemaking purposes. Two of us will be checking the mountain. The rest of us will be staying here to cook the meat on the fire; we'll need food for when we'll be going back. For now, as breakfast, we have chocolate bars and fruits, like apples or oranges." I say. "Would this plan sound reasonable? I don't want to go back to civilization, it's full of zombies. I'm taking the vote: should we stick to the plan I made now or should we head back to civilization where there's zombies?"

"The cold isn't gonna kill us. And it's our advantage against the zombies. They freeze, because they don't circulate blood. And we can hunt to get food. I know how, and I can teach. I think we should go for a raid in the cities close, when we need to."

"I'll go to look for wood."

*gets back to camp*

OOC: Hanna, there's no abandoned town in Alaska, it wouldn't be realistic..

*i wake up and realize im curled up next to the fireplace* God...im freezing my ass off *i hug my dads jacket closer to me*
