Zombie Apocalypse (roleplay)

Sleeping outside again... Well, at least I'm used to it. I had my own sleeping bag in my backpack, but my tent was missing. Probably in the car I left at the mansion. "Hey Alex, are we gonna make a fire tonight?"

OOC: ah okay

"We will, if it won't be snowing." I say as I keep shovelling. I was almost done.

Eliza, why would we be mad???

Eliza why would we be mad.
We all have a past, that dosnt change who we are today.

"Hana's right. We've all been through a lot together. This is the end of the world and we have to face it. A survivor is a survivor, no matter who you are and we need to stay alive for this world, or what's left of it. We've grown as people, including you, so I don't care what your name is, Elizabeth, you're still like family to me. We need to stick together. And, I know that not all of us have stuck with the group", I faltered, thinking about those who had died and those who had left us,"but we can't afford to lose more members. We need eachother. We need you, and being angry wouldn't solve anything. Why the hell would we be angry?"

"We need to get wood from somewhere if we want to make it through the night.

"Kye, we do have some planks left in our bus in one of the storage compartments." I say as I stick the shovel in the snow and walk to the bus. I take a few planks and lay them down over the paper in a fireplace-shaped way and burn the paper with the matches. The fire soon starts to increase and eventually, after a couple of hesitations, it bursts into a large flame. The familliar firecracking noise can be heard. I walk inside the bus and see Elizabeth still shivering. I take her in my arms and walk out of the bus, laying her down close to the fire. "She should be fine there" I say to Anna and Hanna as I walk inside the bus to stop the radiator. I remove some of the bus seats by hand and put them outside around the fire, and I place Elizabeth on one of them.

"Oh, man I love the fire!" I go closer the fire and warm up my hands.

"Sounds cool", I said taking a seat in front of the fire.

"When this shit hadn't begun, my dad used to take the whole family on fishing trips, we'd all end up in the lake. We'd splash and play fight and have a laugh, not a care in the world... Those were the good days..", I smiled. First time in a long time,"remembering them makes this all feel real. Instead of just a phony video game about zombies, you know?"

I saw everyone getting around the fire on the chairs. It was getting dark and I looked around to check for anything that might get here unnoticed. Nothing. I took the electric fence from the bus and layed it around a large area around the camp, leaving a "gate" for the bus in case we needed a quick getaway and a small gate for us to go outside if we ever needed to. I saw we still had a few planks; I took most of them towards a corner of the camp and layed them down, and then I went for the hammer and the nails. I took the shovel with me as well and I started digging a large hole there which we could use as a WC. I was planning to make a proper covered WC..if only it wasn't getting dark. After I finish digging a reasonable-sized hole in the ground, I walk to the bus and take the Christmas lights, hooking them up to the electric fence. I take the generator from the bus and hook it to the electric fence as well, and I turn it on; the lights were on, producing enough light for us to see around. If anything decided to "go for the lights", they'd be electrocuted and die almost instantly, so it was okay with us having some lights on. Christmas was coming as well. I walk to the WC spot and start building a small-sized shelter. It's a shame I built that storage back at the base near the ocean..we could've used so many planks from that here to build other stuff.

While sat by the fire I reach into my bag. "I was saving these for the end, but tonight is good enough to celebrate." I take out a bag of marshmallows and place them on sticks to put over the fire.

"Marshmallows, cool."

*sits by the fire*
*takes of my necklace and holds it in my hand*
*lays back and listens to the story's*

I finish building the WC and notice everyone still around the fire. I stick the shovel in the snow and I put back the few planks left along with the nail sets and the hammer in the bus. I then head for one of the tents, exhausted, and I fall asleep. It was about 12 PM and they were still outside in the blistering cold.

I saw Alex fall asleep.

"I'm feeling tired too, see ya for the night."

I go in a tent and sleep.

"It's getting cold i'm going to go to seep, night guys." walks to the 3rd tent.
