  • Celsius smiled at his collection of snowflakes, then clenched her hand and opened it, revealing another snowflake. "Here. One more for your collection, Icy." She offered it to him with a smile.

Oritigo smiled and hugged Claira close, picking her up in his arms and carrying her to their bed. "Tired, my love?"
  • He looked at it closely in ah slowly cupping his hands taking the snowflake. It's design was not one Icy had seen before and it was beautiful. He put it in another small box and capped the lid on it, looking at it through the sides. He had the biggest grin on his face. "Thanks Celsius, I have never seen this design before, and it's naturally made too " This made Icy smile brighter as He stood up and let the hidden sun shine on it.

  • Only just now was lazarius losing his form, but his power increase was insane; before he could be sucked back into the mask, he taunted every living being within a five-mile radius.

OOC: This best suits his dialogue.

The same haunting bells that marked plague's arrival sounded, but gave off a bitter sense of seriousness. "Look at the ironic tradgedy here... that liquid doesn't bring ONLY MY physical form back, but can be used to get plague out of this little hell of his own... Which is why he hasn't had you destroy it yet... And no matter waht, even if he is willing to sacrifice for you, little blue, He will ensure that he returns at no cost... It is your choice to trust me, but, even with that in mind, remember that I am also trying to get that liquid. All you have done was push the hands back on the clock... And pushing the hands back on the clock does not delay midnight's arrival..." With that, he was slowly sucked back into the "forehead" of plague, and the trickle of the blood-like substance from his left arm stopped. His body fell limp, but the two white specks in the goggles remained.... He was asleep, and prepairing for the worst of lazarius.
    WHAT HAVE I DONE

  • "Oh, so now you realize." Beatrice said. "Great job, by the way. I'd never have resorted to such tactics to end a dispute."
She then narrowed her eyes. 'You did keep it safe somehow, yes?' She sent telepathically. 'It would be such a shame to lose the chance to study it... Er, and return it.'

Sighing, she lowered herself down to earth, kneeling next to the currently unconscious plague. "Demon possession if I've ever seen one. Not sure if I have, but it's all the signs. Not beneficial to the host, either. He'll have to be purged from the body before anything worse happens. If it's possible..."

    ------------------------------

Kiha purposefully avoided eye contact. "Friends... Yes. Yes, that sound about right..." Scratch that last part, NOW she was looking the blademaster in the eyes, smiling a bit. "Lucky you, having a dragon's friendship. Mind you, I still intend to kick your arse." She then raised her flask, which had apparently been empty, and actually bagan grinning. "You have more of this stuff? What's it called anyway? I'd like to know, as It's perfect for me."

    -------------------------------

Tristam twitched a few more times. A few seconds later, and his eyes shot open.
Another couple seconds was all it took for his face to redden. Slightly. At this point, he should've expected it.

  • Celsius smiled and touched the ring Icy wore, the mark of their pact, their bond. "Oh, it's nothing at all. But if I can help you, I will."

Sefie was unconscious, but Yutis responded. 'Yep yep! It's perfectly safe!'

Sahrah smiled and stroked his hair. "Five minutes are up~" She giggled and gently squeezed his head between her breasts.

Yuushio smiled at Kiha and pulled out a second flask, handing it to her. "I'm not surprised. It's a concoction that I came up with. Only Oritigo knows how to make it, and his isn't as good as mine." He leaned back. "No matter how hard you look, you won't find the right ingredients for that. A near extinct plant, grown only in the cold, but only volcanic soil provides enough nutrients for it to grow. Each batch has to ferment for seven years, then add the rest that goes in, and let it sit for seven more years. After that, I put it in bottles and store it for another seven years to let it finish. I have more than enough, don't worry." He smiled. "If you like, I can give you a couple bottles. The unique blend may have some... Odd effects on beings of mana, such as sending that girl who tricked us into a drunken stupor." A devious glint entered his eyes. "Maybe a little payback is in order, hmmmm?"
  • He took the box and sat it on-top of the snow pile, the angle of the sun making it shine for all to see. Pressing his arm into the ground, a small ice pillar rose up that he sat cross-legged on, looking over to Celsius. "So Celsius, what would you like to do? It can be anything, it's to pay thanks for that snowflake, I will use that snowflake later for something personal, but for thanks, what would you like to do?" Icy said ruffling his hand through his hair.

  • Kiha gave the blademaster a warm smile as she took the flask. "I should hope so, that you have enough, would've been a shame had that been essentially the only one. This will be my last one; The last time I drank so heavily, It ended with a man getting his head rammed up another's rear. Truthfully, not hyperbole." She winced. "Last I heard, both were still receiving therapy..."

The dragonkin looked thoughtful for a second, a similar glint in her own eyes. "Tempting... Though... I'm sure she'll have..." Her eyes widened, and the flask cracked from the amount of pressure she had begun placing on it.
"That... Conniving... Little..." She realized what she was doing, and stopped immediately. "It won't work. It's why she's done this only now, if we strike back, whatever we do may affect my apprentice as well. I'd rather he not suffer the embarrassment nor the hangover."

    -----------------------------------------------------

Kor, trying his best to hide how red his face had become, and failing, pried himself away from Sahrah's... Large chest.
At least he wasn't in that horrible nightmare with marshmallows trying to eat him. That was just weird.

The half-demon cleared his throat. "So why exactly did you wake me again? You know, other than to... Hug..."

    ------------------------------------------------------

Beatrice sighed in what was probably relief. However, there was another issue. "Are either of you fairies going to help, or are you going to make a little girl carry a grown man by herself? He can't be left out here in this state."

You know, most people call me insane...

  • Yutis blinked and then slapped Sefie to being awake. "Nah, we'll help." They all fluttered over to Plague, Sefie hitting the ground twice and one of Beatrice's chair legs before reaching him, though.

Sahrah smiled at him. "Well, I'm a but hungry, and it's the man's job to pay for his girlfriend, isn't it~?" She let him go, then nuzzled his neck, looking up into his eyes lovingly, giving that same heart wrenching gaze.

Yuushio chuckled. "Fair enough, fair enough." The flask repaired itself upon being cracked. "But, at the very least, we can retire to my office so I can get you those bottles, and perhaps we can talk further." He stood and offered her his hand. "My lady?"

Celsius fidgeted and sat on a chair of snow. "Honestly, I've never been one for fun. Everyone was too intimidated to summon me for anything but combat..."
  • Kiha swatted the blademaster's hand away. "Just because you're a friend doesn't mean you get to do the whole 'my lady' thing."
She stood, taking a swig of... Whatever Yuushio's brew was called. "Might as well... Go on, lead the way."

    -------------------------

Tristam could only stare. "You woke me, because you were a little hungry..." A cross-shaped intersection of red veins popped up on his forehead, the obvious anime sign that he wasn't happy about this.
"Alright... I can... Do that..." He said, the puppy eyes preventing him disagreeing with the Lamia.

Just wait. A few more years and you'll be completely whipped.
Why don't you just shut it already?

    ------------------------

Sighing, Beatrice slide off her floating chair, opened her satchel, and through means nobody nearby present really knew, maybe, stuffed the thing into said satchel.
With her chair gone, the former necromancer crouched down, a thick tome floating out of her bag. She flipped through a few pages, searching for something.

She tapped her finger on one of the entries before returning the book to her bag. Snatching a stick, she drew a small circle in the ground. Likely alchemy of some kind.
Beatrice pressed her hand down on the circle, causing a flash of blue light. Right before her eyes, a fairly large slab of stone materialized, large enough to lay Plague onto it.

"It won't be comfortable, but it will work. It would be a hassle carrying him by hand. Lift him onto it and I'll take it from there."

You know, most people call me insane...

  • The thumb sized fairies were not going to be lifting ANYTHING anytime soon with their hands. Magic, however.....
Soon enough, Plague was floating on a cushion of air, following Sylph.

Yuushio held his hands up in an "I surrender" pose. "Sorry. But, it would be far faster if I just teleported us there. And that would be easier if we had contact." He gingerly touched her shoulder and they both vanished, then reappeared in his office. If one looked, a small flower that seemed to be completely clear would be visible on his window sill.

Sahrah smiled and got up, resting her head on Tristam's shoulder and looking up into his eyes with nothing but love. "Thank you, Tristam~ I love you~"

Celsius soon sighed and stood up. "I'm going to go train." She walked into the forest and looked for the mightiest tree he could find, and immediately struck it with a roundhouse kick, as hard as she could deliver.
  • --------------DREAMSCAPE------------------

Everything was a void. There was a small fire, and Plague felt an ungodly cold. he shuffled closer the the fire, shivering. Before he could reach it, it extinguished. That is when the formally-dressed Lazarius appeared. There was no emotion on his face, but he kept a direct look onto plague. "well, well... Look at the little failure of a living thing..."

"You monster... I could have gotten my form back, and been rid of you" plague retaliated in fear. Lazarius exhaled, holding his hand up. instead of the indigo flame, a grey and red one burned at his palm. "Listen, Plague. I am not stupid. I am in your MIND, plague. How would I NOT hear your plans and every thought? It is disappointing me to know you think so lowly of me." there was a certain aura of rage surrounding Lazarius, but he put his arm back at his side. "don't worry, I will send you to your little hellhole here momentarily; you should have known that. But don't worry... I won't do anything TOO rash in the physical realm... and with that, he was pulled back into the pitch black, leaving plague in a dark wood... the nightmare begins.

OOC: Just in case someone doesn't know, when I have dreamscape written across the top, it is Plague's dream.
    WHAT HAVE I DONE

  • Beatrice sighed for probably the third or fourth time in an hour. Staring at the stone slab she'd created, it glowed with a purplish aura before shooting off into the distance, disappearing with a small twinkle in the sky.
Brushing herself off, she followed the fairies, not even bothering to summon her floating chair. She didn't want her legs to atrophy, after all.

    ---------------------------

Kor could practically see the hearts in his lover's eyes as he, holding her by the hand, opened the door and began leading her downstairs. "You're welcome, Sahrah. Love you too."
He could hear Abaddon fake-gagging at this point, but ignored him.

    ---------------------------

Kiha rolled her eyes, but did not resist the blademaster teleporting her. However, something odd happened a split-second before it happened. She thought she heard a humongous crash, and saw a stone slab smash into the pub before the sudden change of scenery.

She shook her head as if to clear the disorientation. Teleportation would do that to a person. "Probably just imagination..." She muttered, referring to the odd destruction she'd seen.
For unknown reasons, likely another writer mentioning it, Kiha's attention was drawn to the odd transparent flower. "What is that supposed to be...?" She asked nobody in particular. "It looks like it's made of glass..."

  • Yuushio smiled. "Ah. That would be the near extinct flower I mentioned. It is called Origin's tear, and it is one of five that are left of its species. The petals and leaves regrow constantly, but the flower itself has miraculous qualities, stronger than those of a unicorn's horn, able to even revive those who have died." He picked up the flower and took a petal, then gently placed it behind Kiha's ear. "The petals also have some healing properties, capable of restoring one's mana simply by chewing the petal. Keep it. If you are fatigued, exhausted, sleepy, or need to be continually exerting yourself, that leaf will bring you back to full potential."

Sahrah smiled at Tristam and cuddled into his side, sighing happily. "You're so perfect~" She cooed softly as they walked.

Sylph carried Plague easily to his room and laid him down on his bed.

Meanwhile, a feather landed on the ear of a pink pony, her rider currently napping, laying against her....
  • "Recently died." Kiha corrected. "You know it's impossible to bring back anyone who's truly passed on." Without any further interruption, she accepted the transparent petal, taking it from where Yuushio had placed it and looking at it in her palm.

"I... Thank you. But... Do you perhaps have a way to preserve it for later use?"

    -------------------------------------------------

Kor only grinned widely. "I am, aren't I?" He said smugly, his spirits effectively raised. He couldn't help it, today just felt like a good day. Or night. Yeah, night.
When he'd gotten downstairs, he'd expected to run into Finnian. He was quite surprised to find his armored brother Cyrus instead.

"If you need my brother, you'll need to wait. He's having words with the pony outside." The half-demon blinked. "Pony?" "Yeah. You saw it. Finn said you shrieked like a little girl." Tristam flushed with embarrassment. "Not surprised, she has a habit of popping out at you."
Cyrus shook his head. "Anyway, we should have some leftovers if you need anything. Don't ask me why, but it's on the house for you. I don't know what you did for Finn to get such benefits. Saving our supplier, sure, get a discount, but this?"

Kor heard a sigh from the armored kitsune. "What do you want?"

    *Meanwhile, outside...*

[OOC: You brought this on yourself.]

It wasn't often that the easy-going Finnian had to put his foot down, but it never stopped him from being incredibly stern when he did.
"For the last time, Pinkie, you can't just up and keep him! Humans are NOT pets! You have a pet already! On top of being just weird, you'll give the geezer a heart attack at some point!"

It was astonishing the old man hadn't woken up yet.

The pony just gave the kitsune the biggest, most wide-eyed puppy-dog face she could manage, an easy feat with those over-sized eyes. "Don't try that trick on me, I invented that trick."
She tilted her head to the side. "But your eyes are always closed, silly!" "Like that's ever stopped me before." Finn stuck his tongue out at the pony.

The 'argument' would've continued, but something interrupted, in the form of "Twitchy tail! Twitchy tail! Twitchy twitcha twitcha twitch!" The pony panicked, before ducking out of sight and returning with an umbrella hat.
Sighing, Finn turned around, looking skyward. "NO! PUT IT DOWN!" He yelled at a gray winged figure above the inn, who, startled, dropped what looked like a large speaker through the roof with a loud crash, no doubt startling the few people inside. Looking back to Finn, it shrugged."I just don't know what went wrong!" It, she, said.

Throwing his hands up angrily, the kitsune stormed inside to deal with the damages. Of all the help he could've had, he just had to get a beyond clumsy pegasus.
It was at this point that the pink equine did an ear flop, eye flutter, then a knee twitch, all in that order.

    *SMACK!*

Right as Finn made to open the doors into the inn, Cyrus beat him to it. Unfortunately, the doors ended up slamming right into the unarmored kitsune's face.

Needless to say, the couple inside were probably quite baffled.

Only now did the pink pony notice the little feather balanced on her ear. Reaching behind her ear with astonishing dexterity for an equine, she stared at it.
"Ooh! Must be super important, mister writer wouldn't've written it in otherwise!"

You know, most people call me insane...

  • OOC: Oh, God dammit..... The old man, whose name is constantly changing, is gonna become a main character, isn't he?

The old man slowly woke up and, with astonishing dexterity and agility, leapt up to the pegasus and poked it.

Sahrah was watching the whole display in wonder, still hugging Tristam and nuzzling him. "I think we should probably just get our food, beloved." She leaned up and gently kissed him before resting against him again.

Yuushio shook his head. "Also not entirely true. Even those who have passed on completely still have an attachment to their body, no matter how thin. The entire flower can cause that attachment to strengthen, its pull stronger than the holds of Heaven, Hell, or Purgatory. But that's beside the point." He smiled at her and took a petal for himself. The flower seemed to be in the style of a lotus flower, with a new petal replacing each that was taken. "The petals, like the flowers, don't ever wilt or go bad. They don't suffer from the effects of time. They have many more properties than I have discovered, but one of those that I have is this." He gently closed his hands over the petal, and a soft light began shining from within his hands. When he opened them, a softly shining dust swirled around the two of them before resting I'm two piles, one on each of their palms. Upon examination, the dust had reshaped into a pair of rings. "As long as these rings are held, the holder of its twin can identify who holds it, where they are, and even read the thoughts of the other, provided they aren't blocked off by mental barriers." He smiled and handed her the other ring. "Give this to whomever you wish to keep contact with."
  • The pegasus, startled, immediately forgot to maintain her flight and promptly fell. Oops.

    *Meanwhile, inside...*

A pale-faced Tristam nodded in agreement, staring at the large speaker that had very narrowly avoided crushing him. As he made his way to the kitchens, another loud crash was heard. Looking up, he saw a grey pony falling, smashing into the ground barely two feet away from him.
Nothing seemed to be broken, though, at least nothing that wasn't the roof. Shaking her head, the grey pegasus looked at Kor before grinning, a sound similar to a squeaky toy being heard as she did.

Turning even paler, Kor, with Sahrah in tow, rushed to his destination, all but sprinting to the kitchens.

    -------------------------------------------

Kiha narrowed her eyes. "And if the body is destroyed, what then? And if such a thing were possible, demons and angels alike would find them and destroy them to keep their charges from escaping that way."
Once again, she sighed. The dragonkin noted she was doing that a tad too often... "...Why are you doing this for me?" Kiha asked, looking at the ring. "Do you shower gifts upon all you consider friends, or is this a special case?"

    -------------------------------------------

"So." Beatrice said after some silence. "What exactly is the story with this man?" The former necromancer motioned to Plague. "And also, I believe one of you owes me an apology."

You know, most people call me insane...

  • Sefie looked at Beatrice and tilted her head. "Who are you again?" She appeared to be suffering from amnesia.
Yutis and Fairess, however, were both giving their sides of the story so quickly and overlapped to the point of being a pure headache.

Yuushio smiled at Kiha. "Honestly, you're the first person besides Oritigo not to fear me or hold me in some type of awe." He sighed as well. "Friends are hard to come by when you have power. It's... It's really a lonely existence." He sat down and motioned to a chair across from him. "But, enough about that. How about we keep drinking this fine drink?" He procured two bottles from who knows where, and handed them to Kiha. "As promised." He then cracked open a third, and placed a tankard in front of each of them, filling them with the drink.

Sahrah sighed and hustled along.with Tristam, somehow managing to keep her arms, firmly around his one, and her head on his shoulder.

The old man, getting bored, reached under the pink horse and began tickling her.
