There was a certain feeling of chaos, and slight grimness surrounding plague; he was afraid for his life. No matter how much he pushed it back into his mind, he could feel it tearing away at him. On a side note, he noted that the burn marks went up the building. Disregarding anything at this point, he began his ascension. out in the distance, the familiar cackeling was heard, but sounded more malicious, and it was much more quiet and subtle... He was watching.

Celsius couldn't help a small giggle at Icy's reaction. "Oh, calm down. I'm not going to take you from Denise."
Yuushio, however, immediately identified the stance. "Serene Mind, huh? I've only seen that a million times." Kiha would notice his motions didn't affect the flow of the world, as though he weren't there to begin with. He launched himself at Kiha, then whipped his scythe around her. "Embrace of death." He pulled the scythe back until it touched her. "I know how to counter it as well." -
OOC: Would have been very ironic if Lobo replyed just then
Icy nodded, the redness still not leaving his face, And started breathing in and out trying to calm down from being flustered. "I wonder where Denise is after all.."
OOC: eating food sorry for late reply

OOC: Ori, I replied earlier... but something odd happened. despite you posting before me, My post is above yours on the top of the page (look at the post time)
Reaching the roof, there was an extremely poorly built shrine, with a small wooden spire on the top. There was the same ooze that was on the bed holding it together. But that is when the mark on plague's "forehead" had flared up with the indigo flame. -
As soon as it was identified, Kiha broke her concentration, her features marred with rage. It was just in time, too, who knows what else would've happened had she remained in the now-vulnerable state.
A large explosion of flame erupted around the dragonkin, blasting Yuushio away from her, though the damage it had done was questionable.
"Would you shut up for a second and just GO DOWN?!" Right after this little outburst, she inhaled deeply. Anyone with any knowledge whatsoever of dragons and their kin knew exactly what was going to happen next.
Next thing he knew, a great burst of flames filled Yuushio's vision, a wicked inferno capable of melting steel.

Yuushio saw the inferno approaching and his body seemed to glow slightly, before a large ball of water consumed the flames, trapping them. While hidden from view by the flames, Yuushio became one with the earth, moving his essence right below Kiha's, before reaching up and touching her ankle, making her into the same state as him, pulling her down until her torso and head were all that were exposed, then appearing in front of her and kneeling down, smiling. "A good match, Kiha. A very good match. But you must grow a bit stronger before you can best me." He offered his hand to her, seeing as her hands were still free.
Celsius smiled and hugged Icy again, then frowned. She stood up and poked him in the chest again. "Don't you dare tell anyone about me being like this with you."
Sefie looked at Plague. "What's happening, Plague?" -
Suddenly the top of the shrine collapsed, revealing the crown-shaped phial and the orange liquid. Right then Plague began to shout "GO, TAKE IT NOW! HURRY!" not a moment after the collapse of the shrine though, the marking on his forehead went black, and an arachnid leg with a five-finger hand with claws rather than fingers reached out. Immediately after, It became much larger, and it struck the ground as Lazarius' laughter could be heard. Plagues goggles darkened with pinpoint white specks for pupils, and a small amount of blood trickled from his left glove; that is when the second arm came out, striking plague in the stomach with a jab, leaving the doctor limp. What was once Plague was now a limp body of sorts, whose face sprouted two hands, and was the only thing holding the body up, as the hands began to sort of crawl to the altar. This was done by raising one into the air, smacking it down and using its force to move the other; Lazarius' laughter was now maniacle and constant. "LISTEN, SWEETHEART. EVEN IF YOU TAKE THE PHIAL NOW, I WILL STILL GET IIIIIT!" He taunted, beginning to pick up the pace.
-
Icy, still red as all get out, nodded his head quickly and moved his hand across his face, showing that an invisible zipper had shut his mouth, and twisted his arm, flicking his finger, indicating that it's locked and the key had been thrown away, no longer remaining him to reveal it. He showed a thumbs up next to her hand pointing to his chest, a sign of everything will be alright. He was in a seated position at this moment, holding his hands up in-front of him.

Kiha only glared at the blademaster standing over her. "I can help myself." She growled. With what seemed like little effort, she pulled herself free from the earth.
He fierce stare never faltered for a moment. "How can I consider a match good if I never so much as posed a threat?" From the way her fists were clenched, it was easy to tell she was not taking this loss well. At all.
Without another word, she marched back to the pub, leaving Yuushio behind in a scorched and torn up arena ring, of sorts.
Obviously, she was going back to get that still almost full keg of alcohol. Maybe.
-------------------------------
"Well, now..." A feminine voice had said, seemingly everywhere at once around what was once Plague. "I had wondered what the commotion was about... Now I have my answer."
A small, somewhat demonic looking girl had appeared before Lazarius, supported by what appeared to be a flying chair. "Ah, if only that Ori fellow knew what was occurring here... No, wait, I think he does. See all, know all, I believe..."
The girl floated up towards the altar, towards the phial. Without a word, she snatched the little crown-shaped phial, and had her chair fly upwards, far out of reach.
"I won't pretend to know what is really happening, but I don't believe you will need this curious concoction. " She gave the phial a little shake before stowing in away into a bag at her side.
"Perhaps I will return it to it's owner; I had heard a student was missing something of this description. But it is an interesting little mixture... It warrants further study, to be sure."

Yuushio lowered his blade and fell to his knees once Kiha was out of sight. He started breathing heavier and wiped a bit of blood from his mouth. (Not a threat? That woman is a match for Oritigo and myself. Her strength is crazy....) He shakily stood up and shook his head to clear it. He then walked back into the pub and sat beside Kiha. "You honestly were a threat, Kiha. Honestly, you gave me a run for my money there." He smiled softly at her and then sighed. "I'm sorry if I wounded your pride, Kiha. If I did, it was ignorance, not intention." (God, Oritigo was always the one good at talking to girls, not me!)
Sahrah smiled at Tristam and gently licked his cheek. "Wakey wakey, beloved~"
As the demon girl grabbed the phial and held it, a strong wind lifted it up to Sefie, at which point it shrunk to her size and she carried it. "Sorry, weird demon girl! I made a promise!" She was above the girl now, who was above Plague in turn.
Celsius smiled at Icy and nodded, then held his hand and pulled him to his feet. -
The dragonkin was in the middle of taking another long drink from the keg of alcohol by the time Yuushio had arrived. She set it down with a noticeable thud.
"I know what you are doing, and while I appreciate the effort, it makes no difference." She only now turned to face him, noticing the faint smear of blood on his face. "You needed not waste the false blood, it makes-" Kiha paused. "That's odd... It... Smells real."
She sighed. "It's still not enough. You misunderstand, though... It is not pride that drives me, not completely."
The dragonkin turned her attention to the bartender. "Do you honestly have nothing stiffer? What you've given does nothing for me." She only received a shrug.
Another sigh. This was going to be an exhausting explanation. "...Ask away, surely you must have some questions."
---------------------------------------------------
As soon as the little fairy had snatched the Phial from her, the small demon was immediately up in her face. An involuntary chill ran down Sefie's spine as the girl stared menacingly with those currently bright white eyes.
"It's Beatrice, you little butterfly." She said a bit angrily. "And unless you plan to return that to it's owner, you'd better hand it over. You won't like me when I get pissy."
---------------------------------------------------
Tristam only groaned, turning over in his sleep. "Noooo... Five more minutes... Need it..."

Sahrah smiled and nodded. "I'll give you five minutes, love. Then you're up with me." She embraced him tenderly and let him sleep a while longer.
Yuushio nodded and procured a flask from his robe, handing it to Kiha. "Here. You'll find nothing stronger in any land." He then looked at her, dead in the eyes, a soft expression on his face. "Drink from it sparingly. That entire flask might kill you." A gentle smile touched his features as he used a handkerchief to wipe the blood off of himself. "So, tell me what drove you to be so furious out there. What made you want to win against me so badly, if not pride?"
Sefie stuck her tongue out at Beatrice as Yutis and Fairess joined her. "You really don't know who we are, do you?" They all sighed and fluttered just out of Beatrice's reach. "We are Sylph, spirit of the spring winds!" A small tornado formed around Beatrice then. -
Kiha raised a brow at the flask, eying the liquid inside. "Kill a human, perhaps." She muttered, but nonetheless drank only a small sip. Immediately, she began rubbing her throat, clearing it at the same time.
"I was a guard, Yuushio, a guard in what used to be my home. You saw what... What happened in my life." She took another sip of the powerful liquor. "I was too weak to do anything. Too weak to protect what I... For god's sake, you saw what happened."
She stared intently into the flask during her next words. "If I can't be strong, if I can't protect what's mine... I'm less than worthless. I can't stand feeling weak, Blademaster, it's legitimately painful to me. I can't, won't, let that incident repeat."
----------------------
"You're the spirit of the passing wind as far as I'm concerned." Beatrice said, pinching the bridge of her nose in annoyance. "Ugh, fairies..."
The shadow around her face vanished as she began to glow with a faint blue aura, beginning to smirk despite the threat of violent winds.
"I admit, the thought of combat against a spirit is... Rather tempting. In fact, at this point I would assume that all parties here are up to no good. Maybe I'll gain a proper explanation after I've buried you?"
------------------------
The sleeping Tristam couldn't help but smile. It was hard to tell if that was due to Sahrah or some odd marshmallow dream he was having.
The drooling suggested the latter.

Lazarius was chuckling now, and a head came out of plagues forehead... It had no hair or teeth, but it did move its mouth, which seemed to be covered in an ooze which caused his mouth to remain connected even after it opened. "What a wonderful intervention... allow me to explain. That phial" He pointed with his sharpened claws. "THAT allows one to gain their original physical form; thing is, it has to contain part of the person. I had already inhabited plagues mind when he made it, so he could be physical when he was done being sealed away. Here is the REAL kicker though; You see, I gain power with every passing moment, simply by existing. BUT, when I get closer to the liquid witihin the phial, that power increase? IT increases tenfold. That is why I was able to take this form..." he begun his chuckle, before licking his lips, and beginning to charge forward, jumping up into the air when he was directly below the two of them, quickly getting closer.
-
Beatrice turned to give the demonic nightmare a bored glance. "If that's the case, then... Well, easy solution." Her bag opened seemingly of it's own accord, a red gem floating out, a purplish aura surrounding it.
She then pointed a finger at Sefie, and the gem shot towards her at blinding speed. A flash of red light, and the fairy was stuck in what was essentially a ruby hamster ball.
The former necromancer snapped her fingers, and with a loud pinging noise like a metal bat hitting a ball, the ball and it's prisoner was shot off into the distance. *Ding!* A little sparkle was seen as the fairy faded from view.
"In other words..." Beatrice said, taking a deep breath. "TTTTHPBT!"
In case one did not understand, the tiny demon was in fact blowing a raspberry at Lazarius below her, rising just out of his reach.

Gripping to her arm and standing up, he rubbed his neck. "Should we head outside?" Icy asked walking over to the window looking near the hot sun.
Symmetry is Everything ~Death the Kid -
Sefie glared at Beatrice and sighed. "Mortals. Guess some just can't be reasoned with." As she was trapped in the gem, it shattered only a moment later. Since, you know, greater spirit. Too powerful to be trapped. Anyway, the fairies seemed to be growing now. Eventually reaching the size of Beatrice, with one small difference. "Gale Swing!" Sefie swung a greatsword in the general direction of Beatrice and Lazarius, which caused a strong wind to knock the two down. "No matter how strong you might get, demon, you can't match a spirit in power." The phial? Gone during the scuffle, its shape altered to that of a feather and sent along the winds, probably several miles away by now.
Yutis sat with a staff across her legs, and Fairess wielded a shield as big as she was, if anyone was curious.
Yuushio nodded and closed his eyes. "I... I understand how it feels to be unable to protect something you love.... To be too weak to stop the pain and suffering of those close to you. You saw my past... I had finally found a family... People to take me in..... I couldn't stop their murders, and being able to kill their murderer just made me angrier at myself....." He shook his head to clear it. "Kiha, my point is that... I understand how you feel. I know you may not like discussing your past, but, should anything trouble you, you can always come talk to me." He offered her a small smile and put a hand gently on her shoulder, in a comforting and reassuring manner.
Celsius smiled and wondered how it could be hot in the middle of winter. -.- She figured people just didn't read the contextual parts of her writer's posts, and nodded at him. "Yes. Let's go, Icy."
Sahrah smiled deviously and tried to change his dream eeeeeeever so slightly by nibbling gently on his ear. Hey, it was too good an opportunity to pass up. -
OOC: Shit, it's winter right, need to be more observant, and don't you fourth wall me, don't judge me by fourth wall ;-;
Icy opened the door to the outside and crunched the snow underneath his feet (I strangely love that sound) He laid down on-top of one of the piles of snow near by.
Symmetry is Everything ~Death the Kid -
"A mortal. Moi? And don't act all high and mighty, I've been trying to be reasonable this whole time. Partially. For goodness sakes, I was supposed to be the hero, here!"
Again, Beatrice pinched the bridge of her nose in annoyance, the sudden descent seemingly of little bother to her as she rapidly regained height.
"Always fight first, questions later..." She began to glare at the spirit. "You are an idiot, plain and simple. Altering a container's shape is all but guaranteed to destroy the contents, especially if the altered shape is not hollow. I imagine that liquid is splattered on the ground somewhere thanks to you."
Beatrice began a slow applause. "Congratulations, you've made this entire fiasco entirely pointless." She shot a glare at the three fairies.
'I don't care if it's true or not.' Her voice would be heard saying in the three fairies' minds. 'Please, don't be an idiot and just play along.'
--------------------------------------
Kiha lightly tossed the hand off her shoulder. "Don't. Just... Don't. What you're doing, it's only reminding me of... Him... I appreciate your concern, but I've been coping well enough on my own. Or... Mostly on my own..."
--------------------------------------
The instant Sahrah had begun nibbling, the half-demon's dreams had apparently taken a turn for the worse, though it didn't exactly seem to be a nightmare. He'd be kicking and screaming by now if that was the case. Maybe.
Two things were obvious. Legs twitching, and a horrified look on his face.

Fairess and Yutis both looked at Sefie, whose face seemed to drain of blood. "Oh, gods...." She returned to her normal size and then collapsed against her sisters. "Um.... We'll just.... Take her to get some rest...." Yutis and Fairess began carrying Sefie off.
Celsius looked up as a light snow began to fall and smiled, her face seeming to light up. "Snow!" She actually laughed and ran out into it, looking back at Icy.
Sahrah smiled at Tristam and stopped nibbling, still hugging him gently, now inadvertently holding his head against her chest.
Yuushio allowed his hand to fall, but continued looking at Kiha with a soft, gentle gaze. "Kiha, if you've no desire for a relationship, I understand. I remember your feelings as though they were my own. But, regardless, I would at least like to be your friend, Kiha."
