The beastman nodded.
"Good. That will make things easier in the long run."
"But what about him?"
He said, looking at Tristam.
"Are you letting him come along? Might be a bit dangerous for a small child like him."
"Rgh..."
The half-demon's expression darkened, but he said nothing.
The fox caught onto this, and smirked.
*WHAP!*
And felt someone smacking the back of his head.
"Bad Alden! Bad!"
"Owww! Tanis, what the hell?!"
"I told you not to pick on him!"
"No you didn't, and I didn't even say anything!"
"Then it was implied!"
"What, I can't be honest and call him the snot-nosed shorty that he is?"
"Shor-tee?"
Tristam said in a dangerously silent voice.
Then, he snapped. Within seconds, he had a giant fireball held over his head.
"WHO'RE YOU CALLING A SNOT-NOSED SHORTY?!"
"No, don't do that."
He felt a pinch at his neck, and soon felt incredibly numb, and found himself unable to move.
"As much as he'd deserve it, kiddo, none of us want to deal with collateral damage. Sorry."
The half-demon collapsed at Tanis' feet, completely paralyzed. The fireball he'd summoned disappeared, as well.
The vixen turned to Sahrah, smiling pleasantly, as if she didn't just stop an angry half-demon from turning her brother into ash.
"Don't you and your friend have somewhere to be? Why don't you take him?"
Alden, meanwhile, was back to speaking with Ilo again.
"I suppose not, then... Still, are there any people you want to bring along?"
"Good. That will make things easier in the long run."

You know, most people call me insane...
That's what happens when I try to reason with people, they don't like it, and I eventually end up turning them to charcoal in the end...
Why are you looking at me like that?
Despite popular belief, I did not draw the avatar I'm using. I can't draw.
