  • Lilith: *sigh and turn head to Zarak chuckling at Poofers* It seems someone really hates me around here.
Nurse: *nod and frown* She will be fine, but this was pretty serious offence.
Lilith: *smile a bit squeezing Zarak's hand lightly* Just glad you didn't see me moments before.
Nurse: Yes well first I assumed she is poisoned. And by the blood analysis I assume it might be silver or something. *scratch head* But to be honest I never encountered something like this on any of vampire related patients I had. But it wasn't pretty at all.
On the outside I may appear like an emotionless sarcastic piece of shit, but just like an onion, when you peel off more layers, you find the exact same thing every single time and you start crying.

  • Z: "Do you know who did this to you?"
Anger, seething and boiling, built up within me, making me want to kill whoever hurt her like this, in such a cowardly manner.

P: Curls closer to Lilith, appearing to want to comfort her, but also from the anger from Zarak. He had never been this angry before.
  • Lilith: *shake head ignoring another wave of pain through the body* I don't. But then again people here are not fond of me I guess. *smile lightly and stroke Poofers* Hey there you...

Nurse: I assume it was in her food. But then she told me he only drank your blood past few times and I was pretty confused. *nod taking medical files* Then I examined your files Zarak and now I believe you saved her life dear.

  • Nurse: *nod to Zarak* Actually yes. Considering that she had no other blood whatsoever and the last time he had different one is from cafeteria's reserves I assumed that might be where she got it since honestly they don't pay much attention on blood since we never had too much vampires around.

Lilith: *keep stroking Poofers calmed down by his purring* You don't say. It tasted like garbage.

Nurse: Exactly and it was perfect to get you poisoned. *walk around* Then I thought how come symptoms occurred now and not earlier and I did a little dig session through Zarak's papers after I assumed it might be the reason.

Lilith: But shouldn't it vanish from that time till now?

Nurse: *shake head* That is exactly why you should thank Zarak. Probably the concentration was so high that is was set to kill in a couple of hours. If you haven't drink Zarak's blood, you might not be able to make it. I only do not know ow come, his blood affects you that way.

Lilith: *smile and glare at Zarak* Guess he saved my sorry behind once more then...I am ashamed and proud at the same time.

  • Alden gave the elf a smile.
"I'm sure my sister would beg to differ."
He said, motioning over to the now-quite-green Tanis.

He gave Tanis and the human(?) a slightly perplexed look, but immediately assumed it was Yuushio, whom Tanis was throwing vulgar hand-gestures at and cursing.
"Plans have changed, then, I take it? Yuushio, I assume?"
He asked the blademaster. Tanis' swearing stopped abruptly.

Without waiting for an answer, he sighed.
"Whatever. Now, we go... There. Ishpa."
The guardian captain's pause was to locate the city of Ishpa, which could be seen from their current location, a particularly tall hill.

Alden's eyes widened as he saw the smoke rising from the castle.
"Come on, we need to move. Now!"

Despite popular belief, I did not draw the avatar I'm using. I can't draw.
  • Denise: *chuckle and jump clapping her legs in the air and it made her gain on speed* No problem at all. Race you there. *speed up ahead towards the castle with a determined and unusually serious face*

Lilith: *stroke Zarak's hand* It was not your fault. No one could see that coming here in the Academy.

Nurse: Luckily you have a trusty resource of blood. On that matter you should be fine. I shall report it and we'll do everything to find whoever did this.

Lilith: *frown* Good luck with that. Whoever it is, went through a lot of trouble to get caught now. Thus, so many potential people could have done it.

Nurse: Yes, either someone who hates you or Zarak. That is still have no clue. *smile at them* But seems to me that you are one lucky vampire not considering this situation of course.

Lilith: *nod and close eyes exhausted but smiling* I know. I am indeed.

  • "H-hey! You wait right there, knife ears! It's not safe!"
Tanis, despite having been emptying her stomach half a minute ago, took off at a sprint after the elf.

Her brother immediately gave chase, swearing under his breath. He was noticeably slower (Though by not all that much, surprisingly), and was creating quite a lot of noise as he ran due to his armor.
The streets were empty as the beastfolk rushed through the city, giving them a terrible feeling of dread. Were they too late? There weren't even any infected to slow them down! What happened while they were gone?

    *Elsewhere...*

A certain half-demon began twitching, his rest being disturbed by frightful visions that this writer is currently too freaking lazy to write about.
So, because of said laziness, you don't get to know what's going on and instead get a lame attempt at humor.

All you need to know is that Tristam is having nightmares.

  • Nurse: *blush a bit* Well that is just sweet. You two are just... *giggle a bit and walk out*

Lilith: *mumble chuckling* Finally. *pull up to kiss Zarak still feeling the pain* I hope I'm good before the practice. *smile* And what about you cuteface? Had a good practice?

Vlad: *after Zarak left he smirked and got back to his father bowing down* Father.
Father (Ooc: I have no idea what his name is I forgot ._. if anyone remembers pls help. If not I'll come up with new one) : *break his mediatation and glare at Vlad* Any sign of her?
Vlad: *lie* Ah no, not at all. Nothing interesting at least.
Father: *groan under his breath* Very well then. Where have you been this long?
Vlad: *chuckle* Oh well I was just making some...friends

Denise: *run a bit further shouting* If it's not risky it's no fun! And no fun sucks! *remember they can't possibly run that fast as her elf magic allowed her to* Well darn... *jump and start breaking with her heels causing ground to pile up in front of her and raising dust. At that point her ears went numb from loud sound of armour and tired panting* No, no. no...that's all wrong... That's not how you travel. *mumble a spell and blow some dust from her pocket towards foxes that made them levitate. Chuckle and clap* There we go, much better. Use your flying moments wisely it won't last forever. *stop from running again after she remembered they might not know how to use it* Oh uh...and just stick your hands in front of you...or something...you're faster, no excuses now. *notice all looks people gave them and stick tongue out* What? Never seen heroes before? Move please. *chuckle sprinting again leaving people around dusty and shocked*

Glasya: *pant after getting back on her feet* Son of a...
Angel girl: *frown getting up as well* Do they ever get tired?
Glasya: *smirk* You are so green. You have no idea what they got you into leaving you to guard the Nephilim's item, do you?
Angel girl: *laugh* I assume I'm about to find out.
Glasya: *laugh back* Exactly. Now...don't just stand there. *charge again*

  • "Damned elven- Why Undine chose you is beyond me! If you die, we're screwed!"
Getting royally pissed off by now, Tanis had decided to pick up the pace.

She raised a hand into the air, which began glowing cyan.
    "Ready..."
She then placed it onto the ground, and the now dark blue glow shifted to her legs.

Right before she finished the spell and took off at a ludicrous speed, the vixen found herself hit in the face by some dust-like substance.
The dust irritated her sensitive nose, and caused her to sneeze violently. Unintentionally sending her several feet into the air.

By the time she'd recovered herself, Tanis freaked out.
    "Waaahhh! I h-hate heights!"
Immediately, she began flailing about in the air, not hearing a word of what Denise said about flying.
    "HEEEEEELLLP! BROOOOOTHEEER!"

Her brother, on the other hand, fared somewhat better.
    "Fae Dust?"
He asked upon finding himself floating weightlessly.

He was a bit offended, though. He was running quite fine, great, in fact! His armor, while somewhat bulky, wasn't as ridiculously heavy as it looked.
After sending the elf a mildly annoyed look, Alden hovered up to his flailing sister (who was now doing her best banshee impression) with ease. The concept of flight wasn't all that new to him. Magic was pretty much everywhere, for crying out loud!

Tanis, on the other hand, as you can tell, had quite a shock. The instant her brother came close enough, she quickly attached herself to him with a death grip as he began to follow the elf. (Who Tanis was now shouting curses in ten different languages at for humiliating her.)

And despite the vixen's earlier screeching, there still wasn't anything to greet them. It was getting downright eerie, and it did not ease the feeling of dread.

  • Ooc: guess I'll use your city picture to navigate my character stryder

Denise: *keep laughing at Tanis and all the curses she said* You do realise I know what those mean, right? Silly vixen you are. *laugh more jumping over a couple of cracks almost tripping over one that made her laugh even more* Will be there in no time I assume... *break when she got to the crossroad and turn to others running in place* Where to now?

Lilith: *kiss back and chuckle using telepathy* Now now, everything is just fine as you can see. I'll just be more careful next time. *smile* Though now poisoning my food is out of question. What could possibly go wrong. *Kiss Zarak again lovingly*

  • Lilith: *frown and growl under breath* They came already? I supposed to have few more weeks...I should have... *unwillingly but gently break the kiss and gaze into Zarak's eyes* What did my brother say to you? I swear if he said something to insult you I will personally make sure he regrets it.

  • Due to Tanis being literally attached to her brother, all Yuushio accomplished was pulling along Alden.

"Straight ahead for now, past the coliseum. We need to climb to the top of the tallest mountain, that's where the keep is, and where the survivors will be."
Alden pointed to the keep at the summit, which was basically a small city.

Oh, and Tanis was still swearing. Loudly. And vowing revenge.
It's too foul to be written here, but it was probably the most curse-words Alden had heard thrown out in quick succession.

He smiled apologetically before continuing onwards.

  • Lilith: *nod* As much as I am ashamed to admit, I will need your help my love. *chuckle and place head under his*

Denise: *nod* Ay ay boss. *proceed to where Alden told her* Wow, speaking of ghost town... *frown a bit when chills ran down her spine* Woah, so chilly...and such scary silence... *speak to Undine* Hey Undine, I don't like this even a little bit. What do you think about this?
