    • I would have recommended 3000 characters as a very reasonable limit, as opposed to this 500 word nonsense. 500 words really makes it difficult for writers to conclude a story with a sufficient amount of detail and narrative. I wanted to write my entry so that everyone judging it could easily visualize the story as an animated sequence, but capped like this, we have to be very wary of excess words, and at times I was tempted to cut out the conjunctions because over the whole entry, it would save me around 15 words, which I could use to describe my character or an environmental detail.

      Also, my entry is called Neverending, it's for the Horror category, and stars Pewds, Cry, and Marzia, in a 'Neverending Nightmares' inspired short.

      While I totally agree with this I think it is capped at 500 words is because Pewide probably has to read ALL OF THESE stories. Or someone has to. I don't think anyone can read over 10,000 3,000 worded stories. But agree-writers like me have the hardest time to write something in only 500 words. It needs to be snappy, fast paced, and good.

      Note, I said 3000 'characters', not 3000 'words' - entirely different thing. In my cut down version of my entry to fit the 500 word limit, I currently have 2678 characters, including spacings, so I'm not really being unreasonable with my suggestion.

      You have to see it from the side that, numerous people may read your entry - sponsors, community members, and maybe even Pewds himself - and in the end, the point of your entry is not only just for the lulz, but for the fact that you want him and everyone who reads it to be able imagine it in an animated reality. In that sense, a writer's goal should be to provide AS MUCH detail as he can, and that is really difficult to do meaningfully in a tightly restricted entry size.

      The 'Flowers for my Valentine' fanfiction = 620 words, minus a short end message of maybe 20-30 words. 100 words can do wonders. Just saying. I've got my entry ready anyway.
