It's a horror game made to build tension and shit over time... WHY is it edited to jump cut every 2 seconds man? I could hardly follow what was supposed to be happening...
Im glad you noticed that as well, I think he had to record it twice cause of a failed capture so the playthrough wasn't as strong as it could be.
It was still enjoyable but our game is designed with tension over jumpscares
Thank you for noticing -
@MonkiVirus I noticed that the hand-held CCTV-esque device Pewds was using is similar to the device in Alien: Isolation (aside from the fact that in Alien it's more radar based). Did you guys draw on Alien for inspiration for that or was it something that just happened to end up being similar?Eyo my dude
, that's some pretty dank-meme gameplay if you know what I mean.

It was originally designed as a wrist based device like in Fallout, but due to time constraints and the lack of hands it was easier to make it a vertical one for the alpha, we planned to change it in the full release.
We wanted to create that grounded reality feeling were you could view it at all times but it wasn't obtrusive, and held vertically infront of you.JagerAid likes this.

The part at 7:30 was a reference to "What's in the Box!?" From the movie 'Seven'.
I thought that was pretty cool :3Check me out at: Gothalla123 (Jennifer Greseck) on deviantARTMonkiVirus likes this.
