  • YouTube Video Quality

    Hey Bros,

I'm completely new to the world of YouTube when it comes to making and posting videos, and so I need a bit of help :)

I'm trying to get the best video quality as possible, so viewers are able to view my videos in 1080p. I record with FRAPS and then do a little editing in Windows Movie Maker (Quite the noob hehe). When I'm done with editing I render it under the YouTube settings, but this completely ruins the quality of the video. I then attempted to render it in 1080p, but then I need to downscale the size of the video for uploading, so I use Handbrake to make it smaller. After uploading it to YouTube, I have a max of 360p  What am I doing wrong? Am I using bad software? Should I use something else?

    Thanks
    James
  • Yeah. Just render them with x264 and the size will be much lower.
By the way, I personally like Bandicam, he captures videos and renders them right in the process, so u will need render only to edit.
Fraps is okay too, but it really depends of your PC.
