Ingress is a near-real time ARMMOG (augmented reality massively multiplayer online game) created by Niantic Labs, a start up within Google, for Android devices.

The gameplay consists of establishing "portals" at places of public art, etc., and linking them to create virtual triangular fields over geographic areas. Progress in the game is measured by the number of Mind Units, i.e. people, nominally controlled by each faction

Download the game from google play
You need android 4.0 for the original apk
Otherwise download "ingresd broot mod"

Wish they would have made this Iphone compatible too. Don't get me wrong, I hate my Iphone, but sort of stuck with it till I can afford some other smart phone.

Thinking about it, the idea that Android users are against Iphone users sounds rather neat.
