Ok, once again you're missing my point and now accusing me of saying they're a charity??? Where did I say that???!!! You're annoying me now. Listen...with your brain.
What I'm trying to say they are doing, simply put:
1.Filter out least likely channels by removing channels according to given rules
Its these "given rules" that are broke. It encourages people to upload crap videos frequently...which YouTube is FULL OF.
Simply making good content, having nearly 1500 loyal subs, Machinima Partner, 50+ videos and uploading one per week doesn't seem to be enough.
Anyway...I'm done. Thanks for the competition. It was a good idea in theory I suppose. Good luck to the winners...I expect to see some great things.
Time for a reality check as you seem to lack the interest in how the corporate world really works.
Charity is where someone helps every weak and small they can find. This is called being selfless and it is what you describe and this is why I said "charity".
They are trying to find a small select number of weak and small that'll help both sides grow later on. This is called "being selfish" and it is not charity. Get my drift?
Those rules are not broken. Those are set to help them and not you, me or anyone else.
If you were a 12+ million sub channel, would you help every single channel you could find, or would you help just a few you deem good?
And why would a 1500+ sub channel with machinima partnership need this shoutout? They are anything but small and they're already networked.
Getting kicked out of the competition even though the requirements are filled!

DayZ not an exciting game? I think 1,000,000+ people would disagree with you there. Don't want to argue with you, or make crappy comments about your channel/ interests in games because its pretty childish and low. But your participation rules are all wrong imo.
I'm not saying it's not an exciting game. I'm saying your video is not exciting, lack the action part truly. And sorry if the participation rules are all wrong. Go to other top youtber channel's shout-out contests... oh wait
Actually you did say Dayz was not an exciting game. Now you're saying my videos are not exciting, which I suppose is fair enough. You do say, "video," I do have videos...plural.... 55 to be exact, not all intended to be exciting. I'm trying to be different, and provide people who like Dayz (Not you obviously) with something other than, "INSANE PVP ACTION KILL KILL KILL" I like to make videos, I like editing and like to be different.
Maybe someday... I can be like you, and have a good job...sifting through peoples YouTube channels all night on a massive power trip...oh wait.
See...I can be spiteful too.
Job? JOB? Flash-news: This is not my job. I don't get paid. I am doing this without any reward. And if you love what you're doing then stop the sub-whoring. And check the Pewdiepie's thread, we made it clear for you to understand why you weren't approved for example.<--- Oh, you hate me son?

people should stop whining
mods = the law -
In the rules it says "you must post on a frequent basis". That is understandable, but there's an asterisk saying that "frequent basis" has no definite meaning. I work about 35 to 40 hours a week and am lucky to get out 2 videos a week and I understand that you're one of the moderators monitoring the competition, which I respect that, but I really don't think it is fair to delete someone's post for "unfrequent" uploads when it says that "frequent basis" could mean basically anything, or what it means to Felix. I suggest that someone posts a clearer guideline as to what "frequent" means exactly.
Sorry. Not trying to be mean, but just trying to get my point across! -

Check it again, we've updated a not so long time ago for you to see what he/us meant by that.
It's okay, just check it.<--- Oh, you hate me son?

Every channel deserves a shoutout/recognition, but not evey channel is good enough, if you upload crappy videos, or some copyrighted content what's the point? as PewDiePie said, in last shoutout, submissions was from channels with 0 videos and 0 views, IF you are good you dont need boost from others. Okey, you get shoutout from pewdiepie, you gain like 5000 subs (just random number) and what's next? You upload bad content videos and you will wait till other big youtuber do a shoutout?
If I was chosen, the rest would be up to me and not to anyone else, not even pewds.
If I submitted nothing but bad videos after the shoutout, the damage to my (and pewds') image and the people unsubscribing from my channel would be my fault, not theirs, and a problem for both of us.Comma does stuffs's on YouTube -

BundyClan, I have a quick question. My posted was deleted just 5 minutes ago because of the following reasons "one month." Now I don't mean to sound like a douche, But my account is literally 1 month and three days old and on the requirement page Pewds say needs to be older than 1 month old... If i'm not mistaken my account is older than a month old. So why did I get my post removed?Horror Games, Stupidness and twerking all in one channel! What is there not to like?

AND you didn't make it clear, you've updated it since. I personally consider uploading 1 video a week to be frequent, which meets all your requirements. You apparently do not. This is what I was questioning...
I work 40 hours a week, each video takes 6-10 hours to edit, plus real fucking life.... how many do you think is frequent for someone in my situation? I think 52 videos a year is frequent.
If I got punched in the face once a week, I would regard that as pretty frequent. If you did, it wouldn't be so much of a big deal...not that frequent.
Maybe you should have been more clear on your entry rules... -
71Breaks, I understand that besides job it's difficult but that doesn't change the fact and by "takes 6-10 hours to edit" I think you're exaggerating it.
It's not fair , I get it. But we need these rules cause we can't literally check every-single -video on your channel thus we need rules to somehow keep it organized.
As a let's player 1 video / week is not the best amount, that part is a fact. You can argue about it but it won't change. So please instead of making it harder for both of us just accept it.<--- Oh, you hate me son?

I'm not a lets player either, I only upload DayZ videos, most with no commentary, I try to make small films from them and show the storytelling side of Dayz. Just to clarify. And believe me, I want to upload more but I honestly don't have the time, I'm aware its not the best amount.
Also its not an exaggeration, I cut/chop the music. Chop the video to fit with the music, add overlays, do all my own artwork. Plus sift through hours of Dayz footage. Sync teamspeak up, sync my audio up. All these things take time. Render the damn thing out....It takes more time than an unedited commentary over COD or Minecraft put it that way!
No harm intended, just make the entry rules clear. Like I said, thanks anyway. -

I know but he'll choose 7-10 channels only anyway and honestly he already made it easier for you guys. Last year 300 subs were the min. req. Sorry again for making your day bad.<--- Oh, you hate me son?

Bundyclan, what're your thought's on my upload frequency?
I'll assume my post was deleted due to my holiday / acting course break so I was wondering how long this entry phase of this comp is.
If I have a few days or a week left to enter, that's time I can use to sort out my channel and show how frequently I normally upload.
Would doing so make me eligible? -
People, stop complaining.
If you have any issues or think your channel has been removed/disqualified for an invalid reason, please contact our superior to sort stuff out. Complaining here won't get you anywhere and you just might start a shitstorm or fuel it. Again, if you have any issues or think your channel has been removed/disqualified for an invalid reason, contact our superior which goes by the name mKeRix over here.
We have a hard time (especially bundyclan), to go through each individual application, they have to be checked all by hand and every few seconds a new application has been posted on the thread.
This is just my view on the matter and now I will head over to bed, good night.

I'm the same I love making YouTube videos its like my life and I want a boost to have something to work for aswell I make videos whenever I can and I think it was unfair that you bundyclan took down my post because I "didn't upload frequently enough" when after you posted that's uploaded. I have just started my GCSES examinations and I have to concentrate on them aswell as my subscribers so therefore can't spend 24/7 making videos no matter how much I want to. Making YouTube videos as I said is like my life so could you just give me a chance of getting this boost instead of saying I don't upload frequently enough. I upload whenever I can.
Thanks,
