  • Getting kicked out of the competition even though the requirements are filled!

    Hey!

I really don't know how to get into touch with somebody about this so I'll give it a shot here. I met all of the requirements to enter the competition (by a margin I'd say). But since my account was created a while before I actually started posting I got kicked out for not uploading frequently enough. Since I started making videos I've been posting once a week. I guess all I really can do is congratulate the eventual winners for a job well done. I just wanted to get it out there that there's some fault in the checking system :)

(you can check for yourselves at youtube.com/callescorner).

    Good evening,
I would like to announce that any complaints about unjust deletion of channels should be directed to me, either via email or PM. Please take some stress away from our team and just talk to me instead.
Second, the rules were clearly stated and have to be followed. There is no discussion if it's unfair or not. Felix has 11 million subscribers and is willing to publicize relatively small channels to the broad public, so any rules are fair, as you won't get this chance often and he is very generous. Furthermore all taken action by my/our team are considered to be right until they're proven wrong, which you can do by messaging me.

  • Same here, except I got put out for having 64 subs. It doesn't entirely matter I guess, but I don't get what the point of a shoutout is if you have to have 100 subs. Some people, like me for instance, are relying on YouTube to make it somewhere. I can't reach the 100 Subs mark, and if I could I wouldn't need help. It's depressing really.

This shoutout is for those who have been struggling for a longer time on youtube, making quality videos and yet not getting any recognition.
Quality in part-is based on the amount of subs. After all if your video sucks, why'd they subscribe to you (inb4sub4sub). That's why minimum 100 is needed.
ACTUALLY last year's shoutout's req. was min. 300 subs, just saying.

Right, excuse me while I mention ive had a YouTube channel before this, which I worked on for three years and got nowhere. Along with a YouTube channel before that which got nowhere(And personally I hated it), that's where the Trinity comes from in KronosTrinity. But if you could understand, as I said, this is a last resort. Im borderline suicidal contemplation because of a shit life, I have no chance at anything and depression is the biggest part of my life right now. YouTube is my only chance at making it in life and even having a somewhat paying job for the future. So tell me, what is this for? If someone with a horrid life can't post the get more subs because they have too little subs, isn't this just Youtube all over again?

If you only got that much sub over that time that means people are not interested in it. But if that's the case please read the following: Cirno's Youtube 101 [Read this if you want to improve/grow your channel]
And never think about suicide. And don't even joke with it. Good luck!

Well, it wasn't entirely a joke. But I went there, looked at the list, and I compared it to my channel and I literally am missing two things. Luck, and Thumbnails. And I don't entirely think people subscribe because of thumbnails, so that narrows it down quite a bit. You can't "Network" with other YouTubers realistically because nobody is like that anymore, you can't just go "Wanna co-com?" and expect it to happen and trust me, ive tried. People have too much pride and don't want to join up with outside source so they make cliques of friends, like skydoesminecraft for instance, he made a said "clique" and doesn't journey outside of it. It's the same with pewds, he has a set "Clique".

Usually , I'd help in this case but atm, I just can't afford the time. Maybe when it's over and you stay on the forum we can do something about it, k ?

I've been making quality videos and stuggling on YouTube. I havent been getting much recognition either, but you seem to find it necessary to delete peoples posts just cause the dont exactly meet the requirements. Please dont try to ruin peoples chance of recognition.
  • I think the contest is pretty fair as it is, Pewds doesn't HAVE to do this for us. He WANTS to. Ya kno? If he is going to choose 10 people he really thinks deserves a push, he wants it to be people who DO deserve it. If for some reason he believes that 1 video a week is not frequent enough, he will not hesitate to make the cut. I'm sure he has hundred of people to go through, so he won't pick anything but the best.

Good luck in your youtube careers, everyone! :)

I have a full time job, and I consider myself more of an editor than a vlogger, I didn't know this was only open to vloggers. I try and go for the quality over quantity theme for my channel, I could probably upload a video every day, but they would suck tbh. I spend 6 - 10 hours editing each one, does this not qualify for hard working people trying to get noticed on YouTube?? YouTube seems to be full of channels with quantity, but not much quality...Gah, sorry but getting insta deleted for 1 good video a week is a bit harsh. :(

Maybe you should watch one of my videos, then be the judge. :D

    Thanks anyway.

I meet all of these requirements and my post still got deleted! why?
  • It's not for only vloggers. But the frequent basis depends on the channel's type. Making top-notch animation / week is pretty hard. Making a vlog /week is just über easy and someone who means it would do a lot more than 1 vlog. Same goes for let's players. 2 vid / week, still might be fine. (depends on the video)

I make gaming videos and do at least 2 a week???

Man, you just put "Dosen't meet req" bundy. Not specific. Pewds is my idol and you just put that. Your not my idol bundy, so be more specific fto get my respect.

You do realize I have to check hundreds of channels right? And that you should know the rules and could figure out what the problem was.
And maybe you haven't noticed but I do show respect to people.
