  • Bundi.. as I said, first I used big fonts because I wanted to make it nice.

Second time I did this correctly and I accidentaly posted it then I went to edit and I added the link but when I posted it the post wwas already removed.. you said no 3rd chances.. If there was anything about the fonts and these stuff on pewds post I wasn't typing like that.. :(

    Sad.. ;(
You heard about Gaming Myth Hunters? Well I did, that's why I'm working on these stuff...

    -DARK-
  • I've entered 3 times, and although i took a year out for studies, i post frequently now. I've been going for years now, so i don't see why i can't enter. I meet all the requirements.

Personally i just think the admin who is deleting our posts is just power mad. Most of the entries are legit and it's unfair that we all don't get a chance to enter too.

I make the videos in my free time.... I make a couple a week sometimes... and ive been working on a big video thats over 10 mins long and havent posted one in the last month... also the whole point of this was to get more support and if I did I could post videos more often...

I have 87 Videos and I posted 7 of them last month..... ive just been working on a big project, not just a little 30 second clip and these videos take a while....

I also have 57,000 views and 599 subscribers..

So I get taken off because I havent uploaded freq enough in the last month.... :(

Ive just been working a big project... this makes me sad.

It would be awesome to get a shout out from pewds because Its really
hard to get subscribes with the content I make, I make artistic videos
with a game thats over 10+ years old. Getting a shout out from him would
    be really nice.

The post was edited 2 times, last by Stachacus ().

I have a question to fellow YouTubers posting in this thread:
Why do you need Pewds' shoutout to create quality content? I can almost smell the desperation on some of these posts. If you're doing it for the money and/or fame, you're doing it wrong IMHO.
I just think you should look for quality not quantity. Its not hard to upload a video every day and get 100 subs, but to upload a good//great video every day//week is. This is a competition for people who are putting hard work in to their channels right?

I'm not desperate, far from it really... I just think that this rule is going to kill off a lot of great content creators straight away. I do it for fun, and when it stops being fun that's when I'll stop uploading videos....when I can. (Not everyday).....
Again, Why do you need Pewds to create that quality?
Out of that massive number of posted channels only those that are ALREADY good quality will be selected. The number of subscribers are used as an initial measure to check the quality through popularity. After the filtering there is a possibly that they watch the videos too. Then, maybe, Pewds will select a couple he thinks are good.
And yes, I know that there are great many channels with great quality that just don't receive the attention they need. The world demands more luck than you can imagine, so do everything you can within your own power and move on to other things if it didn't work.
Where do I say I need "Pewds" to suddenly get quality? I'm saying there's a lot of hard working people on YouTube who don't have time to upload a video every day. Think of it like a TV series. I upload one good episode a week, I could upload 7 shitty ones per day....which would you prefer? I'm saying for my channel to be insta dismissed because of this is ridiculous.

I don't need Pewds at all, but I'm a fan of his and it seemed like a good comp to enter...thats all. Just a silly rule imo.

You're talking about a gaming channel. And you're playing DayZ. A not so exciting game , and even that is only 1video/week.
<--- Oh, you hate me son?

True, many great channels will not be considered because of this, but do you know how many <100 sub channels there are? It's not a rule out of spite, but of convenience.
They need to be sure the channels they select area actually good quality IMHO. Quality be damned at this stage. It comes after they've screened the all of the channels who've submitted.

This is my whole point, a lot of channels and hard working people will be missed because of this.
  • I was rejected due to lack of frequency.

This is a shame because if you'd checked through my profile, you'd have noticed that I do frequently upload videos.
    Normally around 3-5 a week.

I understand where the frequency issue came from and that's down to my absence over the summer holidays.
The thing is, this was a period that I told my subscribers that I wouldn't be posting during, so that I could get my acting done down in London.
I'm back and, as promised, will be uploading at my usual pace of 3-5 videos a week.

Could you perhaps judge my channels worth by how I NORMALLY upload rather than how I have lately?
  • Im a little upset that the Moderators don't even read what you put and just instantly click the channel link you know? Of course they are doing what their job is and of course they have my uttermost respect for that. Mine got removed because of Frequent Uploads, but if the Mod had read he/she would have learnt that for the past 3 weeks My step dad had been dieing and I had to go up the hospital everyday to check on him. The reason I posted was because My step dad had literally just died today and he knew that I wanted to make YouTube videos all the time, and so I saw Felix's video and thought, you know what hell I'll try this and get back into the swing of things by uploading on a regular basis. Yes I understand there is going to be a LOT of posts and the Moderators are doing a fine job of keeping it clean, but maybe read one or two?

(Bundyclan) I'm not asking to be reconsidered and allow me to post again after I have uploaded my videos. But if you have a heart that would be nice. With or without help I aim to make YouTube videos and thats the attitude that everyone should have on here. Sure its hard, sure its time consuming. but if its what you really want to do then that shouldn't bother you.

    Without further adue.
*Brofist* and to everyone who got declined I wish you all the best of Luck with your YouTube channels.

Yes, it's sad, but how do you expect them to address ALL of those who want to be in the shoutout?
This is why I came in here, to speak like an adult and have a grown up conversation with someone. Maybe they could watch my channel trailer and then come to a decision?? I could have been a 12 year old kid and gave them loads of abuse, fortunately for them I'm a near 30 year old who likes to talk things through. Its cool.

I see you didn't answer my question.

I know it's harsh but age has no bearing on this matter whatsoever. I should know, I'm nearing 30, too.

To answer your question I don't expect them to screen everyone, and I'm aware they can't. Which Is why I came into this thread to hopefully get a reply...which I did...and again it was negative. Its just a really bad rule to have imo, and encourages people to make bad quality content, and just up the frequency of it. YouTube is saturated with bad videos, with people ripping off other peoples channels and the same old content out there. Wheres the quality?

I feel for you man. Your channels really nice. But when they say Frequent uploads do they expect the Impossible? We aren't exactly rolling in Subs and views. Whats the point of making videos if you don't have an Audience?

You should upload for fun, and because you want to...for yourself really....not for anyone else.
