  • Yutis caught the flask, and all the fairies pursued Kiha. "Maybe some advice would help. Try falling in love! Love means you surrender to your innermost feelings, so if you do that, surrendering to the wind would be easier! Wind is called the element of love for a reason, you know." "No one but you calls it that, Yutis..." "Sh-Shut up! It'll catch on!"

Zarak, predicting Kor would do such a move, rolled forward and aimed his hand at Kor. "Photon!" A glyph surrounded Kor, then collapsed in a flash of light.

Sahrah was in the stands, cheering Kor on, even holding up a random sign that said "Go Kor!".
  • The moment the blinding light faded, the half-demon was nowhere to be seen. The ones watching this fight, however, would see him re-appear directly above Zarak, having apparently used the dimension door technique for the second time in rapid succession, ready to bring down his weapon on the light-mage's head. There was no shout, yell, or calling out his attack, only a murderous glint in the half-demon's eyes.

The dragonkin paused briefly, but only shook her head and continued walking. "No. I can't do that again... Not after what happened last time... I don't want it to happen a second time."

  • "DAMN IT ALL!" He threw all of his papers off of his desk, sending a dim candle flying as well. He quickly grabbed a nearby glass to extinguish the small flame, stomping out a few nearby papers. As he irratibly cleaned up, he found a blank peice of paper that had an odd texture-look to it... it looked scaly, and it had that symbol on it.
    WHAT HAVE I DONE

  • Kor didn't bother dodging this particular attack. Rather, he charged directly through it, shrugging off the few rays that did hit him. He rushed the mage faster than he could've recovered from the attack, and tackled him to the ground, rolling of him as soon as they both hit the ground and onto his feet.
Once recovered, the half-demon grabbed Zarak by the legs and flung him in the direction of the nearest wall.

"...He was murdered, along with most of my friends and family." Kiha said. "To add insult to injury, the men were... Dishonored, before they were slaughtered like the rest."

  • He cleaned up, and flipped the paper. It had nothing on its back. Flipping it again to double check, writing began to appear. Not only that, but a vile collection of marks appeared, and the double helix began to burn through the page. Checking the back again, the circle and the lines were gone... He quickly set the paper over his recently re-lit candle, allowing it to burn as it let out a terrible hiss.
    WHAT HAVE I DONE

  • Icy got up and looked to Celsius. "I apologize if I bothered you for falling asleep randomly like that" Icy said bowing to her. He then looked to Hnile. "Who brought you here or should I say, how did you find me...?"Hnile responded saying that a person by the name of Zarak took him here, though upon looking behind him, it seemed that the postion of him was misplaced. "Where did he go...?" he wondered, but Icy pointed him in the right direction as light rays could be seen.

Luna smiled as she was asleep and whispered Aska as she dreamed on.

  • Zarak grunted in pain as he slammed into the wall. He got back up to his feet and wobbled slightly, his breathing heavy. "You're good, Kor. Real good. You've improved."

Sefie winced at that and gently hugged Kiha. "Oh, you poor girl...." She shook her head. "Do you know who did it?"
  • "Of course I do." The dragonkin said. "I saw the whole thing. And I ripped the ones responsible, Succubi, to shreds. I don't know why they'd attack a village of dragons like me. Really, we should've been able to fight them off; Even the most inexperienced villager was potentially lethal. I was one of the few who actually took combat training."

    -----------------------------------------------

Kor only advanced, ignoring the small bleeding holes in his arms and chest. He was lucky nothing hit a vital organ or two. To him, Zarak didn't look much better, a throw like that quite frankly should've broken his back.
"I could say the same for you, but I think it's obvious." He coughed violently into his free hand, and was surprised to see his blood. "Neither of us are going to last much longer. I've got one of my lungs pierced, and who knows what bones you've broken. So why don't we just go out with a bang? End this disappointingly short bout?"

  • Sefie closed her eyes, then they opened. "You have Origin's tear?" She blinked and sniffed. "Yep. Definitely Origin's Tear. Why don't we use that?"

Zarak nodded and assumed a battle stance. "Oh, radiant light, cast down thy punishment upon these evil souls...." An aura of immense power began radiating from him, and his body began glowing.
  • Kor stood his ground, focusing his energy as he prepared for the assault. 'One chance... I've got one shot at this; If I screw up, it's over.' He thought, a red aura surrounding his body as he prepared to counter.
"COME ON! LET'S SEE WHAT YOU GOT FOR ME!" The half-demon shouted.

Salamander had a sneaking suspicion she knew what he was doing. "He's not doing... That, is he? Oh man, if he can pull it off, that would be so awesome!"

    ------------------------------------------------------

"I have what?" Kiha asked, before she realized. "Oh, this?" She pulled out a small pouch which held the glass-like flower petal, emptying it into her palm. "I fail to see what this has to do with the conversation."

  • Celsius nods at Icy and smiles. "It's fine. Don't worry."

Zarak lifted his hand up. JUDGEMENT!" Suddenly, the sky darkened, and dozens of rays of light fell towards Kor, too many to counter and too fast to dodge. He could probably counter one or two, though.

Sefie smiled. "Whatever you were told about that flower is wrong or incomplete. The entire flower can resurrect someone permanently. However, with just one petal, someone can come back for thirty minutes once every year. Maybe you could call him back?"
  • Perhaps to some people, the rays would've seemed an impossibly powerful attack. Kor only grinned maniacally. The moment the rays struck, a bright flash of light blinded the crowd. Once anyone could see, they could see Kor there, seemingly unscathed, though the heavy breathing was a sure sign that whatever he'd done took a lot out of him, he was probably on his last legs.

And then there was the bright blue ball of fire he was holding above his head. "By the star of morning, the child of dawn; The star thrown to earth shall achieve victory! DAYSTAR!" He then threw the large fireball at Zarak. Judging from the intensity, it's possible he siphoned some energy from Zarak's attack to use for it. And like it, it was impossible to counter for different reasons, and dodging would be pointless; The explosion would probably obliterate the area they were fighting in.

    "Brace yourselves!" Salamander called out.

    --------------------------------------------------

The dragonkin turned to Sylph, her glare fierce as it's ever been. "What would be the point?! I want to MOVE ON, forget about that incident! Calling him back will just hurt us both when he has to leave!"
Kiha's voice failed her for a second. This conversation was having a real bad effect on her. "Just... Just stop... It might be selfish, but... I doubt I could handle it. H-he'd understand..."

  • Zarak smiled and took a deep breath. Only then could the sword planted behind Kor by Zarak be noticed. "Aegis Strike." Just as the Daystar connected, several rays of light shot up at Kor from the ground around the blade.

Sefie looked at Kiha. "Kiha.... You're still hurting... It may hurt, but surely there are things left unsaid, something you wish to say to him. A wound may hurt, and the medicine may hurt more, but the wound will heal."

Oritigo smiled and entered her dream, hugging Claira and the kids. "Hello, my wife, and the little lights of my life!"
  • Eyes wide, the half-demon whirled around in time to see the attack coming right at him, and pierce through him at the same moment he heard his daystar explode behind him, forcing the viewers in the stands to take cover.
He chuckled weakly, took a step backwards, and immediately collapsed onto his back, his wounds and fatigue causing his vision to go back.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kiha's glare intensified. "You know what...? You know what?! FINE!" She tossed the flower petal in the general direction of the fairies. "Go ahead, bring Kanne back! It won't change anything! If anything, I'll be even more of a broken down mess; Won't that be just lovely?!"

  • Sefie, Yutis, and Fairess all shrunk visibly under her gaze. Yutis actually teared up and flew past Kiha, crying. Sefie mumbled. "I was only trying to help...." Before slowly flying off.
Fairess handed the petal to Kiha. "Only someone close to him can perform the ritual... We can't...." She fluttered off as well, going after Yutis.

Zarak smiled and collapsed at the same time Kor did. A buzzer sounded, and Kor's and Zarak's wounds were healed and their energy restored. "This match is a draw!" Yuushio announced. "Now, go to your classes!"
