Best Playstation 2 game? Best playstation 1 game?

I've been thinking about this alot, and I figured i'd drop the big question here. What are the best games for PS1 and PS2? My most memorable experience was Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2. But Champions of Norath cuts really close as well. PS1-wise, Crash bandicoot of course. Maybe Metal gear solid.

PS2 for me is Disgaea:Hour of Darkness. I adore that game.
PS1 is FF7, without a shadow of a doubt.

Ahhh... I'm afraid I can't name only one D:

PS1: obviously the FFs from 7 to 9, but I just have to mention Wild Arms too

I learned to whistle thanks to that intro :'D

PS2: this is a tough one... I guess I have to say FFX. And DQVIII. But definitely X.

To be honest, I can't say FF7 was my top choice. Of course, I loved the game or else I wouldn't have a psychical copy still. But I fancied 8 a little more :3 Maybe even 9. 10 Was my favorite FF by far.

PS1: Spyro, Crash Bandicoot, and Legend of Dragoon.
All games that I grew up with.
PS2: Any of the Final Fanasies.
I don't remember many of the PS2 games cause I grew up with just a PS1

PS2: Meh. Somewhere along the lines of Kingdom Hearts 1 / 2 and FF7 Dirge of Cerberus (or any of the 40540353504303605406054064035403 Final Fantasy 7s)

PS1: Some Spyro games! Just like many of you do. (Though I don't remember the names.) Also Crash Bandicoot, the first one :3.
PS2: Multiplatform game but whatever. I played Prince of Persia games on it, one of my all time favorites for some reason.

PS1: Resident Evil? Or maybe another game I can't remember.

PS2: Either Persona 4 or GTA: San Andreas. (I actually prefer GTA SA on the PC and I only saw someone play it before on PS2, does it still count? Also I have not played Kingdom Hearts yet.)

I think Final Fantasy 9 was the best playstation 1 game I played, but my library was extremely limited back then.

For Playstation 2....too many to choose from, KH2, Persona, FF10...

Best Ps2 game was Jak And Daxter: The Precursor Legacy!
I have fond childhood memories of running through Sandover Village and wish I had a Oxel (Daxter) of my own

Oh how could I forget that game. It was the first one I played when I got my PS2( and I only wanted a PS2 for Kingdom Hearts)

My #1 PS1 game is Legend of Dragoon, almost would have been Resident Evil 2

My #1 PS2 game is Dragon Quest 8, it had the best ending I've seen in an RPG

PS1: FF7, MGS, FFVIII, FFIX;
-Oh and my mom loved Crash Bandicoot ... She spent hours playing that game

PS2: This is hard ... I loved FFX, but there's also KH and KH2 ... Oh and FFX-2 was the biggest disappointement ever ..
