Best Playstation 2 game? Best playstation 1 game?

Just thinking about it, Matrix Path Of Neo was a damn good ps2 game aswell, always fun stopping bullets with a wave of ur hand and then doing some crazy hardcore killing when faced with hundreds of Smiths

PS2: Final Fantasy X
PSX: Resident Evil 2

Final Fantasy X was the FIRST Game I played on the ps2 when it came out, I got it as a Christmas gift, and I had NEVER played a Final Fantasy game in my life. Everything about this game amazed me, graphics, story, battle system, I could not stop playing this game. Thought about it during school, I would rush home, quickly do hwk just so I could play this game for a few hours. And on weekends I seriously played this game all day. And to this day, this game is still my ALL TIME Favorite game and will continue to be so:) Definitely want to get the remake! But no Vita:/

Resident Evil 2, scared the living crap out of me....AND I DIDNT EVEN PLAY IT. Yup. I would watch my older sister and my older cousin play it. I eventually played it myself, I have a copy of it on the N64! I jumped everytime, and the part that got me was when you play the B Scenario and that freakin tyrant dude rolls through the wall! But now, I love this game:) Big fan of resident evil, proud to admit that I even like the new ones.

also god damn i gotta get matrix path of neo again at some point, it's one of the few movie based video games that are good.

PS1: Can't decide between the Crash Bandicoot series or Spyro Year of the Dragon, these were pretty much my childhood and they're both too epic to choose between.
PS2: Final Fantasy 12, without a doubt my all time favorite game nothing more to be said.

I had a PS1 but never had many games for it. But for the PS2, I think that the Silent Hill games are the best ones.

All time favorite.... Ratchet and Clank Trilogy.

PS1 and PS2 had SOOOO many awesome titles.

PS1: Xenogears, Suikoden 2 (1 was good too), Chrono Cross, Resident Evil 2, any of the final fantasy games, tactics ogre, legend of dragoon, valkyrie profile, Parasite Eve, Lunar, Grandia, Legend of Legaia, Star Ocean, Metal Gear Solid, Silent Hill, Digimon World, Monster Rancher 2, Tales of Destiny, Front Mission 3... and oh so many more that I can't think of at the moment.

PS2: Any final fantasy, Disgaea, Persona 3, Kingdom Hearts, Resident Evil Code Veronica, Legaia, Arc the Lad, Xenosaga, Suikoden 3 almost any DDR game, Metal Gear Solid 2&3, Silent Hill 2, Fatal Frame 2, Vice City, and probably more I'm forgetting.
