How is everyone doing? Wanna vent? Need advice? Or just someone to talk with?

There's plenty of people here willing to listen to someone in need, but for those who don't realize that, here it is. I'm open to help anyone in any way that I can, PM or here, or just willing to listen to anyone who'd like to just talk. Me personally, am doing very well. Happy with Megan and school is going well. Assholes have left me alone. But i'm starting to remember some old bad memories like a fresh wound. That's kinda bothering me, but it will pass. :3

My family are pissing me off the fuck knows where and back and I'm so fucking sick of it, and they don't even realise even though I've told them four times.

Personally, mine are simple. Besides Megan calming me down, I write, play videogames, pull pranks on assholes, and talk down at idiots. Also helping people makes me feel better.

My mum is always putting massive amounts of pressure on me no matter what I do at school, my dad doesn't know when to stop making jokes about me and to me when I'm just not in the mood and my brother can not go a day without having the satisfactory of almost seeing me in tears and getting too angry by patronising, insulting and putting me down constantly. He's such a fucking arsehole to me. I know they only seem like like little things, but it happens all the time. Also, my parents have made a habit of thinking that I have no belief in myself or my abilities, and think that I have no motivation to do anything myself without prompting, even though I have shown them otherwise. It sucks major dick. The only things that make me happy these days are my school friends, my friends that I met here and video games. I dread going home sometimes..

I understand the whole deal with the family. Most of my family looks down at me because I am a atheist in a strictly christian family. My dad was also emotionally abusive during my childhood and did not help my suicide attempts with it. People can be cruel, and with that being said, people such as yourself bring a spark of light in the darkness of the world. You are a rare kind, Anna. Smart, mature, young, and understandable. Don't let anyone change that, including your parents. You won't always have to deal with that, trust me. And never hold back what you want to say. Words are better left out, then left inside.

Thank you, that really helped, it's good advice. You're right, although it does feel like my family drags me down a lot, I won't let that change me, especially when I have friends, like you, that help me a lot and keep me sane. I hope all goes well with the whole religion controversy in your family, and if you ever need to shock them, just tell them you're Jewish.

Music is a really good medium to reduce stressful tensions and the like.

At least that is what gets me going.
