    • Suggestion for the shoutbox arguing/rule breaking.

As the mods can't always watch the shoutbox, they shouldent be bothered by nonsense that can usually be handled. But of course, we always get those asswipe rulebreakers who never listen to anyone about the rules until a mod comes. So, i thought of something. Certain people get a title that verifies that they can say what rule is being broken, and that they have permission from the mods to tell them to cut the shit. I just figured i'd suggest. It would mean not having to make anyone mods, and bothering mods less with in-shoutbox drama. Thoughts?
    • That's the thing. A title is just a name. It's not being given mod rights. But giving them rights to say what and what isn't a rule. Like a mods assistant, kinda.
And I think either we could vote on it(With mods permission) or just MK and the others pick. I'd say we wouldent need many. Some of the members who are pretty much always on could do it.
    • Still would require a decent wait for one to get on, depending on time of day time zones etc etc...

If there is / was a muting system for chatbox the said person could be able to mute them.

Having someone just watch and write down names / screenshots is just meh... any one could do that and I don't see the need for a title to do so when people should just do that stuff anyways.
    • People should, but as I said. Someone always complains until a mod shows up. I know, it happens constantly. xD Being one who tells people what rules are what in the shoutbox alot. The title would help, i'd say. Any other ideas are welcome too though. Sure MK or someone will look through it. I talked to Marcus and Baz about it already.
    • Well, we'll see how it goes. Not trying to poke holes in your idea and stuff, just thinking about if it really needs implementing. Just try to actively improve on the idea and all that good stuff, good luck to ya.

E.g. What would be required for a report to be filled? How long will a ban be? Who will the person be? How many people? And so forth...

The thing is that no one will simply become a assistant because you have to earn the mods and admins trust.
And im my opinion, many would flip over a simple matter because it annoys them.

Meh, would pretty much be getting more mods. Just limited to one area. But I like the general idea of it, but how many would there need to be? And who would be the one to pick them? (Obv other mods but..well..).
The team obviously. In my opinion its 2 or 3 people that would be able to monitor the shoutbox during different timezones.

      I have issues with authority...
Authority is not a easy thing to not abuse time to time, but still.
The person must have all the team's trust before even having slightest chance becoming a shoutbox moderator.
And i hope you all know that we cant discuss about this.
Just keep the discussion with the mods/heiko if you really think this is a problem big enough to add mods to it.
But imo, i think its perfect as is.
Just leaving my opinion, i am done here now.
