PewDiePie has changed to the worse! :(

  • Pewdie has change alot from when he started yes. There is only one reason to that and thats his fans, his fans wants to see this silly man getting scared from everything and him just walking around all derpy. But hes just doing what his fans like. I would really like a more serious Pewds too. But he ain't like that anymore. And if you don't like it id recommend not to watch.

  • Well, he hasn't been playing horror games, I can agree on that. But Pewdie still puts his time and his effort into some games to make us happy. If we devoted some effort, or time, to make him a custom Amnesia map, a horror game, or a HL2 mod, it could help. He devotes everything to us, and we devote everything towards him. He hasn't changed to the worst, because if he did, he wouldn't be uploading videos. I think we all just need to calm down, and let him be. He makes us laugh, and we make him happy. It's a win-win.

  • Did he changed? yes. That's because he knew that a repetitive channel will get boring in no time. Did i like the old pewds? well, yes. better than today's BUT that doesn't means that i hate him. Did he changes to the worst? well... no.. he doesn't went "COD,SLENDUR,MAINCRFT,ERMAGERF."

  • Yes, he changed. Yes, everyone here liked the "old" Pewds.

    But, as said here, he changed because it would be boring for everyone to watch him doing the same for 2 years ...I can't even imagine. So, yes, he changed. And guess what.. He is, still, a millionaire.

    I'm not hating ! :) at all, i understand his reasons. As i understand people who prefered the old Pewds ..!

    And, as said above, he didn't went "COD,SLENDUR, MINCRFT, and stuff", which is good and proves that he still has imagination and criativity .. Imo, ofc.

    To be honest, I actually agree partially with this.

    Who wants to watch Amnesia every single day? I honestly like seeing his newer games and what he decides to play next. Amnesia was honestly getting boring, with the bro just chasing him and shit.

    Obviously, Felix doesn't like doing all these repetitive puzzles, and he said, "I'll play Amnesia when a really good custom story, but for now it's just the same puzzles over and over again."

    You guys should have respect for him, he can choose what he wants to do. He should be happy too, not just you guys. And quite frankly, I, personally, am happy with where Pewdie is.

    Yes, I did enjoy his older videos, with him being all happy and stuff, but you know, he still makes me laugh. I know some of you people don't like what he's doing, but lots of people do, so if you don't like him just don't watch him anymore.

    Also, just a quick sidenote, I don't personally believe he fakes "a lot" like some guy said in size like 78 font. He tries his best. You bros should be happy.

    I will follow some of your advice, I will stop watching him (Maybe find some older videos to watch is cool). And in a couple of weeks/months I will see if he can make me laugh.

    I dont like his over-over-overacting, it's getting really boring, maybe its time for him to change to something new? Even 90% of when he laughs I think its faked.

  • This conversation is old and talked through a lot of times already. Really, just stop watching. I haven't watched any of his horror themed videos in over 10 months now, they easily get boring and stupid. Nowadays I just watch SeaNanners or whoever plays a game that interests me. Thing here is, he's making videos for a large crowd, and I can tell you from personal experience, all these 14 to 16 year old girls around here absolutely dig what he does now for some reason.
    Just let things be. You're like one of these old people screaming that everything was better when they were young. It is not like that, that's just a personal opinion. The world moves on, and if you're not capable of handling that, then don't and just live on your own and don't complain, there's no point to it. If you yell at the coffee guy that the prices are too high, he can't change anything about it. He works to give the people what the masses like, just like politicians tell everyone what they want to hear.

    I'm not sure if he's overacting, okay maybe a bit (edit: only you can decide) but only to entertain the newcomers. And it is a relative opinion, others might like it. And it's indeed got boring, to watch amnesia, I believe. You just can't expect anyone to do the same things for years. It's like as if you were just repeating the same thing and putting just a few different things in it. And that is never good. *khmCoD*khm . So, I have no idea whether I wrote made any sense, or had a purpose but my point is: you need to understand it, whatever he/they(other youtubers) change/changes is for us, for the audience. Also if you're worried, Amnesia 2 is around the corner(okay a bit far ,but soon...)

I don't think the title for this thread is exactly valid, you make it sound like he's turned into a monster, he's a really sweet guy! And personally I can't see why it matter's if he's changed just a little bit as long as he keeps his fans entertained.

    Just to make it clear again, it's only 2 years we're talking about here. That's really not a lot.

  • He still play horror games. He still do the things he used to do. Don't be angry with him just because he has changed. Everyone changes from time to time.
    And besides, if you played the same game over and over again, you'd get tired of it too. <.<

    But here's the thing: you just said in this thread that you want him to be the same. To play Amnesia, and do what he always did.

    Now, however, you're saying you want him to change?

  • Pewdiepie has most certainly changed, but I would personally argue that it was for the better. My first reason is because I can't stand Amnesia. *dodges thrown garbage* It isn't exactly Let's Play material. Sure, it's fun to watch Pewds crap himself every time a scare shuffles along, but I can't really get into any of Pewdie's Let's Plays that don't have a story. I loved his To The Moon, Heavy Rain, The Walking Dead etc. Let's Plays because of the plot that I am following along with a person whom I personally think is the best company for playing a video game. I have stopped watching his Shadow of The Colossus Let's Plays because the story has started to a rut. Honestly, the only reason I stayed so long is because of all the entertaining little characters Pewdie created.

    Now, call me wrong and a fake bro and a fag. I can take it.
