PewDiePie has changed to the worse! :(

    I am writing this to lighten my heart. I know that this will upset a lot of bros, but I have to be honest. PewDiePie is not what he used to be.

    In my opinion Pew was the "coward that played really scary games", now he just plays around in barbie games and what not. I used to like the "serious" Pew when he would play those scary games and be focused on playing and following the story. To break down into saying funny things in situations where he's stressed and scared, was very funny.

    Nowadays he acts like a clown and doesn't take any horror story seriously.. (Dont know about the non-horror games, I dont watch them).
    In my opinion he has started to be a little bit too much "cocky" and I think that many bros is getting less and less entertained. He is getting away from the story too much of the time, yelling barrels and having a conversation with mr.chair for 30 seconds, even if he isnt in a situation where he is stressed or scared.. It was funny when he did it when trying to hide from a monster or something like that, but now he does that whereever he goes..

    Any thoughts of this? I hope Pew reads this.

  • You know .. when someone does the same thing for an extended period of time, he isn't able to maintain the level of entertainment. He would get bored of doing the same shit.

    When you keep playing Amnesia for over 2 years, you'll obviously get bored of it, and used to it.

    I'm not saying he should keep playing amnesia, but he should play new horror games likes he used to play amnesia 2 years ago. Not by starting talking to five different óbjects in the opening of a game.. -.-..

    It shouldn't be obvious if he isnt stressed or scared, and trying to get his mind to something else. In situations when youre scared it can be fun. It average situation he looks like a clown and drags out the time too much..

  • It is indeed true that he switched things up and changed, however, you have changed aswell. Fun things come and go, that's just how it (most the times works). Do you still watch any of the shows you used to love 4 years back? Odds are you don't. Just like all the good things in life you should enjoy them when you still have them, because the next moment you might not have/or not like them anymore.

    Anyways, i'm getting off-topic.. ah right.. I actually like the 'changed' pewdie more, since it includes the vlogging etc, I got rather 'bored' quickly with the repetetive jokes in the let's play ( just opinion, no hate ).

    Look here, I may sound very egoistic, but this is Pews work, if he has a splitted fanbase, he should make horror videos like I want to now and then (If there's a demand for it). He should be happy not being stuck in a car factory for forty years. Even if something gets boring for him (Like making Amnesia vids) he should according to me still make those, maybe not as frequently but still. All hes doing is getting bored with something, tells it to his fans, and all goes, "WE SUPPORT YOU SO DO WHATEVER YOU WANT BROFIST!!!111", now everybody hasnt got the golden life of Pew to choose to make what he likes and dont like. If I would go to my theoretically speaking boss, when I work in a carfactory, and say that I think it's boring to make cars, can I make somebicycles instead? Then I had to switch carrier (which is hard in todays economy), my boss wouldn't just stop the production of cars and starting a bicycle firm for me.

    This is Pews job, and according to me, he should entertain in different ways. (Depending on the demands..)

  • OP is is right with his first post. nowadays he acts like a clown. Reactions are 90% not legit nowadays on stuff and Pewdie currently just flings in a shitload of profanity in his new vids to compensate that. This is why I watch his older stuff , while generally neglecting his newer stuff. He is a good guy and all , but he isn't what he used to be.

    Those are all very true words, however I think pewds is a guy who ( used to? ) play with his heart on video. Differently from a car manufacturer who just has to execute his daily routine of actions, Pewds has to be creative and entertaining.. and not just for 20 people at a child's party, but for 3.000.000 (150.000 child parties). If he can't be happy himself, it will be super hard for him to fake it to 150.000 child parties, since you'll always have some children at each show which see that you are faking. I think the key to Pewdies succes and happiness is being himself. People fell in love with him as a person, not his actions. In order for him to succeed and be able to continue doing his shows, he has to remain close to himself. Just like the clown at the party has to be happy himself in order to be able to makes others smile, even with his different act.
