its a common thing to say these days sadly, just smile at the poor misguided soul and walk away

Its not a usual question, but it have happened, so I'm getting you guys reactions. I might get some suggestions for more reactions too.

In that case, I'll try and tell you what I'd do.
People who say this probably know less about your life then yourself. Let alone that they know who would or would not cry in case of.. Deceasement. (if that is a proper english word)
A smart person once said ''Don't argue with stupid people. They drag you down to their own level and use their experience to beat you.''. Something along those lines.
The best is probably to walk away, since reasoning seems like a useless thing to do against people who say such things.
And then the last thing to do is to forget or ignore what the person said.
That may be harder for you than for me, but you can't let bullcrap like that get to you, buddy.

I get that sometimes from strangers in college. What I do is just look at them with an unamused face and walk away; but I do find it hard to not lose it and shout out reasons why they are obnoxious.

If I was eating a burrito I would just point it at them and ask "Burrito?"

Reply to them saying "And when you die...Nobody will find your body"

Walk away because it's childish to argue back.

Me personally I would just ask them slow and painful or quick and piss on your corpse? Either way you will meet my two friends hydrochloric acid and knife.

I've been way too much bullied, so I'd probably react extremely violently, and headbutt the person, no joke. Tired of being weak.

It may sound rude but they really can just back off. I mean who are they to criticize and try to control my life?

I would first be like: o.o.... and then I would just smile and walk away
