I've had my fair share of things that are unmistakeably horrible happen to myself, there have been incidents in my life, where a guy or even an older man tried to do things to me that I didn't want them to do to me.

Originally, I didn't think that the rape jokes were quite funny, although, after time, I began to understand that it's something someone says when they're freaked out or even just being a major dumbass[and in Pewdie's case it was both]. Sometimes, you have to forgive these things that people do that make others laugh, because they don't think about it, and even if they don't think about it, they haven't experienced something like you and I have, and even a few other members.

I'm sorry if it isn't funny for you, but sometimes, jokes aren't funny to everyone. I hate certain comedians for their lingo, but others I laugh at the things that they say. It's a part of life, but, as it normally does; the world will move on.

People although don't normally think about what they say, and if they do it's quite rare. Whenever I post, I tend to think about things before I post them, and if I do post them and then I think about it again later, I apologize like crazy about it.

Many people aren't as smart enough to think about it before they do something, and in Pewdie's case, whenever he does something like this, he receives likes, favorites and even comments about how funny it was. Thus reinforcing that it is a good thing. Now, if you reversed that to making it all zero likes, and favorites and good comments, and possibly adding about 1 million dislikes onto a few videos he made, that would reinforce that he would be doing something wrong and he would do something different until there was a positive response.
It's somewhat like Skinner said, a famous psychologist, when doing something right, a reward is given, when doing something wrong, there is no reward and then you try again to receive that reward.

But once again, not all people can enjoy a cruel sense of humor.
And as someone above said, when you want to get over something, you laugh about it sometimes. I find that very true as well, like...When my cat died[he lived with us since I was really young], we all tried to laugh about something that happened when he was only a kitten. My family and I felt better after laughing about it, so, I guess you could see it that way.
