Hello! I don't mean to resurrect a 2 month old thread, but I found a solution to this problem. And; since it's the first thing that pops up when searching "Samson C01U Skype Problems" I felt like it was my duty to help anyone, like me, who happened to stumble upon it. Anyway, I listened to myself though the Microphone Properties and I sounded fine, but when I made a Skype call, I made a terrible noise and sounded like.. A robot, I suppose.
