I use both Dxtory and FRAPS and I like Dxtory better since it doesn't affect performance as much and it records your voice as a separate track but the one thing I dislike about it is that you can't record your desktop with it like FRAPS. FRAPS is also way easier to use, where you don't have to setup that much. Dxtory requires a semi-advanced setup but thats nothing a guide online can't solve. So long story short FRAPS is very simple and easy to use and is worth it in my opinion.
