  • Hello, I just started around the same time you did :O, but anyways, I will definitely give your channel a look when I get some free time and I'll try to critique it as best I can

  • Sorry Im busy during the weekend but if you choose to make part 4 during the week (Mon-Thursday) I would be more than happy to do guest commentary

If you feel like you can do it, go for it, I started like 5 weeks ago, and I upload 2 videos a day, does it affect my viewer count? Not really...as I don't even have many views to begin with lol. Just don't go to crazy with it, "Quality over Quantity" as they say, I remember reading on these forums about someone who wanted to upload 7 videos at once, thats way too much. You gotta remember that your subscribers have their own lives, personal things that they wanna do, and when they come to check …

If you're going to buy powerful stuff like that you better make sure you have a very strong and durable powersupply that can handle that, as well as a strong heatsink, with plenty of fans, otherwise your computer will fry in matter of minutes. Don't forget to tell us how much RAM you plan to put in. Also, since you stated you're doing a channel, obviously you are going to need space, make sure you have additional hard drives.

I highly recommend taking everyones advice and just buying the parts individually and doing it yourself and you can easily save yourself 100-200 euros easy. (Possibly more) You could use the extra money for stuff need for your channel such as hardware (Nice quality webcam, Microphone, headphones) or software (Video editing and maybe video capturing). Heck you could use the money to buy the new games coming out. I know ur worried about messing up but there are plenty of youtube videos to follow, …

  • Yeah, more time I guess, but hey you're doing good though, you have like 20 something subscribers and almost got 1,000 overall video views

  • Hey Levithan you already know Imma subscriber on your channel and I enjoy watching your video but I just wanted to say that you're doing an excellent job with your youtube channel and keep it up! And I'm with ya on the "more exposure" part lol

I also saw CinnamontoastKen play it as well it is a really good game, very good and interesting story, reminds me of heavy rain. I wouldn't really say its horror, theres maybe like one or two jumpscares, but other then that its more drama and suspense. I remember when I first saw this game I was like "wtf is with these graphics?" but if u can look past them and focus on the story and slight puzzle solving, you will be hooked! Unfortunately I did watch Ken beat the entire thing as well as the vid…

  • This definitely sounds like an awesome game, gonna try playing it on my youtube channel, is there really copyright music? Kinda sucks that I have to edit that out...

  • Lol. I do the exact same thing with my titles, except mine are like "ChunkeyPanda Plays: Blade Kitten Episode 1"

  • Quote from BlueJayOnToast: “Lol all the points I've seen are really good. I gotta keep reminding myself of Patients cus I will upload a video and be like "I worked really hard and it has 20 views after a day?? I suck at YouTube"” Be glad you have ANY views unlike me:P ,but then again I just started, at least you have something!

  • Thanks for the list, I was actually going to make a thread like the one described by the OP, not "Why aren't I famous in 2 weeks of starting my channel", but what can I do to improve and help my channel grow. Definitely need to work harder if I want to achieve more success with my channel, such as commentating, editing, etc. but anyways thanks again for the list

+1 for Msi afterburner! You need a large monitor to fix the settings however!

  • Thanks for sharing how you record video and audio I'll have to try some of these different suggestions and see which one I like best, thanks again!

  • I was wondering for those of you who have experience recording and editing videos, do you record audio and video on two different programs? For example, Fraps to record gameplay and Audacity to record audio commentary? Is it better to do it this way? Does it make it easier to edit?

  • So all of the music on that website we can use on our videos without any copyright issues???

  • For PC, I would suggest any of the F.E.A.R games if you haven't done that already. It looks a lot nicer than the console counter part. But if you wanted to do console then perhaps silent hill or fatal frame or even siren blood curse (PSN game)
