It can work out for the best... or for the worst, to be honest. I think it just depends on the situation, and the reasoning behind the break. Let her have the break. Chances are, she needs that space to figure out some thoughts, especially if she has been distancing herself. I know this because in a past relationship, I had to ask for a break too... and it was well needed to improve the relationship. If she doesn't get the break... things could take a turn for the worse. The point in presents isn't about getting... it's about giving. I love giving gifts - even if I get so little or nothing in return. For instance, my family and I just exchanged gifts. I agree. I have 0 tolerance when it comes to someone cheating. If you're not happy in your relationship, just end it and instead of being a coward. I like where I live, and personally don't see myself moving far away from my family unless I tie them up and take them with me.
