Since the old PS1 game like Parappa the Rapper and Silent Hill is on Pewds list, I would like to suggest this game to him. I never played this before but this game is pretty interesting, since the progress in the game will gradually change (to more and more... weirder state).
Note that this game will make you creep yourself out (that include some jumpscares.) ;D
