  • Another question about flash.

How's it goin', bros? Ya know, I was just filming my "The House 2" gameplay (Special thanks to Nugeddi for recommending Bandicam) and when I reached the five minutes and two seconds, my PC turned off. What could it be? Please, I want to play more and upload my first gameplay ;( (By the way, it's in spanish, so don't bother checking it out, but if you want to it would help me a lot)

  • Depends how old your computer is and dust can really clog up your machine's parts and cause very quick overheating, I know my laptop for one often fails about half way through rendering a 25 minute Let's Play video if I'm doing too much at once (internet, skype, etc.)

It could be worth (if you know how) taking your case off and carefully dusting it out, it can do a world of good!

  • Well, considering the computer is from 2005 (And I can't afford to buy a new one), It gets really hot (When it turns off I put my hand on it, and it's 73 farenheit) and I guess my father isn't on the side of me opening it, but in the ventilations there's A LOT of dust, and I can't play neither filming or not, everytime I'm playing Happy Wheels it turns off, now I was trying to save a video made with Camtasia, and it turned off BOTH TIMES I tried it.

P.S.: I know it's 73 farenheit because I tried Gamebooster with Façade, and it still turned off ;(

If your dad wont let you open it my only other suggestion is to put an office fan right next to your computer to keep it cool from the outside. If that would be too much hassle (which it would be for me) just tell your dad to do it, show him what's happening. I know how stubborn fathers are -.- I'm a qualified computer technician yet he still wont let me anywhere near his when there's a problem with it.

  • Well, I think I would do what Nugeddi says, because it didn't turn off when I had the 98 theme (Which was a month ago), and for Runescape, I think (But not confirm) that my father sometime ago said that he would leave the computer with a technician (He says he wants to clean it, but not the computer, the hard disk ¬¬) But I guess that he would clean the dust
from it, but for now I guess neither my father would open it.
