Youtube Partnering

I just recently started thinking about getting back into doing livestreams and recordings for my Youtube channel and with all the fuss about partnerships, I wanted to ask pretty much about the basics to see if it's something I should be interested in. It never really interested me before because it seemed like just a way to make money off your videos, but I'm thinking I might give it a chance.

Can someone explain the difference in partnerships, the benefits, the negatives and everything in between?

You should try for Socialblade then.
Also, you get the banner, scheduled uploads, thumbnails and being able to see how much you earn.
But it feels like you are one of the "I am gonna get accepted by Fullscreen"-dudes XD
You have nice quality on yer stuff.

- You get to select thumbnails for your videos (that's how I figure out wether somebody's a YT/Socialblade partner or not).
- You can upload videos over 15 (or 10) minutes (can't remember the actual limit for usual youtube members).
- There are no downsides as far as I know..but what do I know about youtube? I only have 1000 views to my channel and 2 vids.

Everything sounds good, I do need to work on my video quality though. It's hard with a Mac, we have no good screen recorders and I can only bump up the livestream quality so much!

Everyone that's monetized now can do custom thumbnails and scheduled uploads (well, I can upload videos and schedule them to be released, if that's what you mean).

And this thread's interesting, I have no clue what Socialblade or Fullscreen is xD.

umm no. If you activate your youtube account with your phone(or something like that) , you get 15+. I'm not partnered and i have a vid up to 30 mins c:

Socialblade....it requires 84 views a day and 5K views a month.:D It might go lower after a while again. Damn.:D

That's also why I was curious about different partners. Why do different ones matter? What's the difference besides popularity?

All the benefits are great, makes your channel look a hell of a lot better!

Also the money is a nice boost every now and then even if I do have a job, since i got stuff to pay for!!

I think different partnerships give you different sort of payouts but not hundred percent sure....like different amounts of money per 1000 views.

Lol, regular Youtube users have no limits on their videos length. xD

I'm pretty sure Fullscreen rewards people with 70% of the adsence money.
A regular Youtube partnership is only 55%
