What I don't understand why you put this whole commentary example in this video? Shouldn't it be about if one should be a youtube or not? It seemed a bit too much about you in my opinion. Obviously that's just my taste, but for those kind of advice videos I like - advice, like you did in the beginning and at the end of your video.

You will find many of these types of videos on Youtube but they are supposed to be exactly what you pointed out. They are the opinion of the Youtuber telling us about what to do and what no to do. There is no rule book to LPing apart from the one we all make for ourselves. He shows examples of his old commentary and an example of his new one to show how in his opinion you should be presenting your commentary on gameplay footage. I give it two thumbs up for being honest. As a lot of 'How to be a' videos are just information we already know. It is good when someone says "DON'T DO WHAT EVERYONE ELSE IS DOING!" It needs to be said more in these videos instead of "ok, well you need a recording device and a mic then you are all set. Thanks for watching. CYA!"

but I want to remind you of the fact that the purpose of the video was "should you become a youtuber", so I don't really get how Br00tal's experience is affecting anyone watcing this videos. I mean how can someone who never ever made a video know if his/her commentary is good .

As I mentioned Brootal shows his old video which he felt wasn't as good compared to his new one, which he uses as an improvement. The question appears in the form of "What is good commentary?". People like different things. If people want to be like Brootal then they will watch his video to see how he feels they should be when trying to be like him. It is all apples and oranges really as some people out there have really poor recording equipment but have lots of fans because, well they like their style.
