Sam and max is a funny litlle 3rd person adventure game made by telltale games.
its a completely linear game with no action at all, though i loved it for its great story
Three "seasons" have been released so far
each season has several episode-games that revolve around a central theme
the 1st season's theme is strange hypnotism-based attacks
havent played the the other two seasons

Sam and max are two freelance police officers who have to deal with weird cases
sam is an anthropomorphic dog with a huge revolver gun,and he is always serious and knowledgeable
max is the exact opposite, an erratic crazy rabbit who makes most of the game fun.
the great thing about the game is how those two manage to get along and get their stuff done with no regard of the consequenses. theres LOTS of puns and references, though not as many as mcpixel
more like a parody of real life people and their behaviours
each episode will take pewdiepie 2-3 youtube vids to complete i guess

thought it would be a good idea for a story oriented game, you since to the moon ended and many people liked it
