What is your first impression of someone based on their profile picture and username?

    • Well I don't generally form an opinion based on a profile picture... but I do draw up pictures based on names... just a warning, some of these examples below may be offensive or mildly racist x)

      1. Someone with a proper name, i.e, first letter capitalized, no mispelled words, and no letters or numbers are people who consider themselves "leet," they are normally tryhards when it comes to seeming cool, hip, intelligent, and generally form "cliques" which consist of other tryhards where they all believe they are a lot cooler than others, especially those who do not fall under the category of tryhard, even if that said person is even more intelligent than they are. Example: TheFallen

      2. Someone who uses some kind of coolguy military name, referring to communism or soviets or something of the like... these people believe they are truly the coolest eople on the internet, and so do others. They are normally smart, witty, and funny, but in real life they are more than likely virgins, or at the very least, lacking in some form of social interaction. Many of them are even bookworms, which makes it easy for them to come out of their shell and seem like the smart, coolguys of the internet.

      3. Someone with a name that contains multiples of capital and lowercase letters, sometimes ending with some pointless and random symbolism like "-x0"... this label generally only pertains to females... one's that really, truly, honestly, completely pretend to be attractive in real life. Usually they use fake pictures and get all the men, however, the truth eventually comes out and some gross video containing an "iPod" and an "unshaved vag" goes viral, and hundreds are horrified at the interaction that takes place between the two quoted things.

      4. People with a word or two, and a number in their name, these people generally don't care that much about the internet, they are more into sports. They likely have a real social life, friends, and are probably students. This label is generally void, however, if the words in their name are something nerdy(starfleet1), or arrogant(niceguy3), then they would actually fall under category 5 regardless of their actual display name.

      5. People with more than 2 numbers in their names. These people are like, brand new to the internet, or at least they act like it. They are mildly retarded to a point where they aktuli tiep lyk diez, and can't even figure out how to check their email, learn the controls of a game, and usually rage over random pointless things such as "Y DO U KEAP IGNORIN ME!!!!!!!!!!!", which of course, is always followed by an unnecessary amount of exclamation points.

      Well, I could keep going, but you guys get the point. I'm a prejudice bastard, but strangely accurate. :thumbsup:

    • well i talk for myself in my forum profile i flat out explain who i am what i do or in my 1st post as Intro without giving much personal info which usually makes people feel negative about me.using the avatar of my favorite characters is some how a hubby but i don't change my avatar a lot even though i think it's fun...so i think impression people would get from a guy like me is he argues a lot-he talks alot- he is not moody-he doesn't do much! and i guess that's a fine impression for just looking at some one's profile...ofcurse from reading some one's posts or talking to some body you get a totally different impression...
      but about the person before me :
      Name: Red hair...Nut refering to how active and hyper she is i guess!
      Avatar:unlike her tricky smile she will clubber you...
      Profile:Yeah she will...
