Black Mesa is a mod that is 8 years in the making, and is going to be released on September 14th. It is a complete remake of the original Half-Life, using the Source Engine. With all-new voices, redesigned models and levels, and better graphics, it looks like it'll be good. However, the developers said that it will end at Lambda Core (the last research facility level in the original Half Life) and Xen will be a separate, expanded game.
