Note- Resident Evil Outbreak has no relation to the resident evil saga, because it is a spin off. RE outbreak is the first of the outbreak series.
Resident Evil Outbreak is a Survival Horror video game for the Ps2. Back when resident evil had "bad camara view", this game was the best of its time, and many resident evil fans enjoyed it. But as of now, its dead and is rarely played.
Plot- You pick from a roster of everyday citicens from Raccoon city.
Kevin- Ex police officer
Mark- Security officer
David- Plumber
Alyssa- Reporter
Cindy- Waitress
Yoko- college student/works with umbrella
George- Docter
Jim- Subway employee (train station employee)
You try to survive and get out of raccoon city alive, accompanied by party members you are able to choose from the roster. Each character has a
unique ability and unique item. example- George is able to convert health herbs into pills. pills have different uses.
There are 5 scenarios to play, each are fairly long and some require you to check carefully for clues. example- find notes, read them to find codes
for doors or directions for areas.
Scenario 1- Outbreak
Scenario 2- Below freezing Point
The rest of the scenarios are for you to discover, for they are locked.
You start out with 0% virus gauge. The virus gauge tells how much T-virus you have, and how much time you have left to live. At 100% virus, you collapse to the floor, and die. Each time you are attacked by a T-virus infected enemy, the gauge rises. when you are incompasitated, you collapse to the floor, crawling, but the virus gauge rapidly rises untill a party member picks you up.
It's possible that not everyone of your party will survive the scenario, and if so, your grade report after the scenario completion will result in a lower grade. example- 3 survive= A , 2 survive=B , 1 survive= C , 0 survive= F. Your party may not always get along. Cindy usually stays with George while Jim goes exploring the scenario by himself. Sometimes the loner might even die, which you can find out on your map to check, indicated by an X. You cant see where your members are on your map, untill they die that is. After they die, you are able to take their items from their inventory without them saying no, yuh kno, cause they're dead and all.
Some scenarios make you play with a little surprise running amuck the entire map, of which you have to deal with if it gets in your way. It gives you a chill knowing its coming for you, or maybe the sound of it walking when you cant even see it from the camara view, but thats what makes it scary, you have expectations of what's ahead.
I've attached the intro of Resident Evil Outbreak, so you can see what the atmosphere is like.

There is also a 2nd game for anyone who is interested. It can be bought at a near Gamestop or any other video game store.
Well I hope this encourages everyone to play RE:Outbreak
Your oppinion, and support matters, because the fans ofthe old school resident evil still love these games, but capcom decided to take down the online servers, and as of now only care about 3rd person shooter resident evil games.
Pewdiepie, Please consider playing this, because I know you would like this, and your opinion matters the most. You promote video games by playing them, thus making everyone of your fans play them and making it popular. It could be enough to show capcom that they made a huge mistake by stop making classic resident evil games. Please do it for the resident evil fans.
Sincerely, ImonlyJK/ or as i consider myself, a Bro :)
