PSX emulator help.

Hey bros!

I'm planning to play SH1, I figured emulating it is the best way to go.
I have emulated with ePSX before (dream emulator & Parappa). But for whatever reason I just can't get this one to work.
If any bro could help me out to get it to work that'd be awesome!

I'm guessing it's a Playstation emulator? (sorry if I'm wrong)

I am assuming the game is Silent Hill? Here is a torrent, you can try this one to see if it works. It should work in PSX

Ok, so my post was deleted because it was a torrent? There is nothing wrong with torrents. I don't know why everyone hates on torrents, they are just faster downloads.

Honestly if someone could just .rar their emulator configured and mediafire it so me I think that'd be best

(not 100% legal) but hey its the best xD

Lol, I'm kinda confused, Do you want an emulator or rom? My post was deleted because of the Rom. But if you need some emulators there are some here.

:3 Just try all of them till one of them works for you. They are all Playstation.

There is an emulator called pSX.

It's an emulator that doesn't really need any plugin configuration and such, but it works favorably. :3

And Silent Hill works on it, because I've beaten the game on the same emulator.

You don't make a problem of it , but the companies do. Its still copyrighted content and the creator didn't make it opensource/free or whatsoever. So its better that people refrain linking to illegal content to prevent any legal matters against the website etc.

I mean, you played the second SH, but the fourth is the most recommended here xD

Ok Pewdie here is what I use. rapidshare.com/#!download|164p…_1.7.0__FULL.rar|2190|0|0
just open it and extract to desktop.
Its ePSXe Ver. 1.7.0 with BIOS, and plugins I think.
and I know it is illegal to emulate games, but is it legal if you actually own the game?
(I will Delete the download link after pewdie has tried it)

Well, if you want to play it on EPSXE, then you might wanna enlighten us on the situation, PDP.

Is there a graphical glitch? A sound problem?

If you can't find any solutions, then, again, I suggest pSX.

That is EXACTLY what I asked him (Ok not exactly but still) But all I get in return is "Can someone just stick their emu with the game and config in an .rar?" -.(\

Did you figure out the problem yet?

Here are a bunch of emulators you can try, one of them has to work!

And here is a ROM just in case your ROM is the problem

If it doesn't work after that, let us know!

I use pSX and SH works fine, you could try that.
