Sony Vegas Pro 11 render error

I seem to keep getting this message
an error occurred while creating the media file the reason for the error could not be determined
While rendering..It's stoppping me able to render all together

8gb ram
windows 7 64-bit

Some of the files you are using might have loaded in wrong.
It happens with vegas.

re-import those files.
Thats what I did, I don't know any permenant fix to stop it though.
I don't dabble in videos much.

You mean after rendering, you can't render again? Or you cannot render anything at all?

During render, it will just stop and give the error message

Well, I'm just guessing that some of the files are corrupted.
I haven't actually used vegas for awhile.

I get that sometimes but a re-render seems to fix it for me.

Try not to do much else on your PC while it's rendering.

Also; it may be the video export settings. When I try a really custom setting it always has problems so I just stick to the pre-made settings.

I know.. it's annoying.

What's your settings? Maybe you're using 32bit full range or something like that?

lol I tried using .avi settings to render, it worked but the file was 86 gbs lol..Tried another setting..and it worked..seems the .wmv is broken or something

don't use .wmv.:/ Please, that's old and it sucks.:) Use MP4.xD
