I need help with editing :c

So I have Fraps down, and I have my Windows Movie Maker to record myself, buuuuut, I suck at editing.
Maybe it's the software I'm using?
Or I just suck at editing in general.
Can someone please help me v.v

Sony vegas I would recommend. Took me a while but I downloaded the demo again a couple days ago and it is easy.

Windows movie maker is shit sir

,u should use Sony vegas Pro 11 or if you want superb efects use "adobe After efects"

Use Sony Vegas or Adobe Premiere instead. Windows Movie Maker is too.. basic
Edit: Oh yes.. Adobe After Effects is great too

As Flamez recommended, Vegas is the way to go. That or Adobe Premiere Pro, which is a bit different to learn but still yields the same results. Best advice for editing is: practice, practice, practice. Your first videos will most likely always come out "sucky" but in time you'll learn the best ways to make your videos look clean and organized.

All my videos are edited with Adobe Premiere Pro. It`s not as complex as Sony Vegas but Adobe Premiere Pro is quite good and it`s a better program to start with.

She uses WMM for webcam recording.

After Effects is more for adding digital effects to videos. Not really meant for editing a basic video.

I always heard Premiere was harder to learn than Vegas :s

Well, I have both, but I can't figure out how to overlap my WMM video on top of my Fraps recording.
That's what I need the help with. X: I almost had it, but the sounds weren't synchronized and they got messed up.

I think I can help, so you want to overlayed videos? You have to drag one of them on the video bar on top of the other, and then click the video, go to Effect Controls, and change it`s size. Here, I took a screenshot and it just happened for me to edit one of my new videos. If you need more detailed explanation just tell me.

Yeah, I'm not great at learning by viewing, I'm better if someone explains, and shows a little.
So, I think I'd need a better explanation.

Otherwise, I'm just nodding my head up & down, like a little bobble head.
Once I've done it a couple of times, I'm pretty sure I'll be pro status eventually.

I guess you mean PIP (Picture in picture) Man there's alot of tutorials about it in youtube just go and check it out

Just do a google search, there are lots of sites having tutorials, and they are pretty useful.
