    One Night 2: The Beyond
(One Night HAS been suggested but I think that it should be emphasized that the first One Night was difficult and not very fun and also buggy)

Game Info: Horror/Puzzle. Free game to download for PC. Made for RPG Maker (rpgmaker.net ) so it is similar to Ib, To The Moon, etc. I completed in about 3 hours. Seems like a decent reference for total playtime. Puzzles can be a bit difficult but game comes with guide to solve the puzzles. Combat is simple turn based in a way, but on the run, so to speak. Plenty of jump scares and suspenseful moments, which, for a rpgmaker game, is pretty rare. Gameplay involves finding clues in notes or other surroundings to solve puzzles and advance.

Story: You are investigating a haunted house that seems to be making people disappear. You arrive not expecting much but get way more than you bargained for. You walk through this mansion to try to escape and find out more about the paranormal activities going on at this place. You can follow the story as either a female or a male.

I really enjoyed this one and it kept me playing but also kept me scared. It's definitely a fun game to play in one night. Maybe if Pewdie were to play this game, I might make the main character look like him so he could play as himself

  • I remember playing both One Night and One Night 2 and I gotta say, the second was no where near as good as the first. The first was more challenging for one thing, which I prefer in games. Secondly, the enemies are less of a joke in the first (SPOILER: killer teddy bear, anyone?). Although the jump scares were much better than the face-on-the-screen of One Night, I'd still rather play the first. Good choice, though. Also, One Night: Full Circle is out now. Too bad One Night 4 was cancelled. Let's hope Pewdie plays this.

It's a matter of opinion. I did think the first was a bit more challenging in both the monsters and puzzles. But this is for Pewdiepie. Everytime he runs into a puzzle he can't complete in five minutes, he has to look up the solution just so he can keep the let's play going. The main reason why I don't think he should play the first one is the last level. It's ridiculous how difficult it is. It has only one save point and when you try to fight the boss, it sometimes crashes. For a let's play, I don't think it's the best choice. I haven't checked out the third one yet. I'll have to try it out tonight.

I know that the series is on the list and specifically pointed that out. I wanted to emphasize that the first One Night wasn't that great of a choice. I wanted to show and describe only the second game in the series. The two seem like two completely different games so it felt necessary to me to point out the differences.
