I already have a pc, but I bought the mac because of a music program that many of my friends recommended. When I´m on the pc I use Fraps. -
Well, my personal suggestion is screenflow, but if it doesn't work use quicktime player. QuickTime Player doesn't record audio, but you can still record audio on another file and then put 'em together. But Screenflow is still better."I am Vios, and I am the Icon of Sin"

Fraps for recording on PC, yes.
I'm curious to what music program are you using. Many artists would use Fruity Loops.
I also agree with Vios, Screenflow appears to be feature-packed.
