My name is Brendan, and I'll be your guide to the thread.

Whether your passion of exploration be fueled by dreams, stars, clusters, voids, galaxies, alien life, supernovas, superclusters, neighboring solarsystems or space travel.

So I'm sure most of you are either saying to yourselves "Elder likes astronomy?", or "Why do we need astronomy?", or "Who the hell is this Elder fellow?", or "lol wat is anstrmy -__-".
None of these questions will be answered.

I think it's incredible how small we are in comparison to everything else. To be this tiny in a cluster that big, you KNOW there has to be other life out there.

but sadly most of the people are idiots and say that aliens do not exist , since they are clearly thinking about the aliens you see in the movies , but even an amoeba sized lifeform can be an alien. :V

This is the thread for me, I am currently studying for astronomy and i am planning on applying for UH Hilo (university of hawaii). I will hopefully be getting a job as an astronomer atop mauna kea at the observatory there c:
