Thread is missing?

  • Thread is missing?

    Hi, what's up? Not sure if that's the right place to post, and sorry if it isn't. I just have a little problem, and I'd like to have a quick explanation. About a month ago, I made a thread about the horror game I made, "Floor 10", in the suggestions forum. It got about two pages before it died, and a user made a Let's Play video of it. Today, I opened up the forum just to check if, by any chance, there was something new on the thread, and I found out it was missing. Not only that - the Let's Play video was also removed from YouTube. I'm sorry, but did I miss something? Did someone find the game offensive while I was gone and asked to have all traces of it removed from the site and YouTube? I don't think the thread was deleted because of old age since my introductory one is still there, and it's been inactive for a longer time. So, can someone please tell me what's going on because I'm seriously confused and, to be honest, kind of insulted that I wasn't notified about the deletion earlier by the person responsible.

  • Well, whoever uploaded the video of the Let's Play would be the only person who could delete it from YouTube.
    That has nothing to do with the forum, or its mods, it has to do with the person who uploaded only.

    Your thread could've been deleted for several reasons.
    Did it follow the suggestion format correctly?
    Was it a duplicate post?
    Honestly, if it's gone, it's gone.
    I'm not sure what to tell you.

    I suppose the only advice I can give you is to check over the forums rules before posting a new thread just to make sure
    you're within the confines of the forums standards.

  • yeah that's weird, in a thread *moar games* there was that game that has been suggested but also it is in suggestion list, for the deletion of both things, I have no idea what happened O_o

  • Yeah, I'm pretty sure I didn't break any forum rules. Even if I did, no mod would let it reach 2 full pages of comments before deleting it. And I know the YouTube thing isn't connected to the forum, but I just thought it was important to note, since the user who made the Let's Play is a member of the forum.
