"Gonzo, you're free to go wherever you want..but you'll find your own vehicle; we only have the bus. But I warn you..being outside the group can be dangerous. We can barely survive by ourselves, altogether.."

"Well, I have no clue where we are. So should we find a car store or something?"

'Good luck, you guys', I smiled.

'I'm bored', I said to Julien.

'Now that neither of us can really move, might as try to pass the time together.. Shall we sing christmas carols?', I laughed.

"Sure, why don't we get some fireworks and celebrate new years eve already!"

I walked with my cane. I went to Julien and Anna. "I wont go anywhere, because of this leg. I'm gonna be here and protect what we got here."

I sit down thinking..Gonzo's going to leave, Hanna's going with him, they aren't focusing on our job, which is to find an electric shop to get what we want, and then get the hell out of this city, driving towards the sea. I'm so deep in thought I couldn't even notice Katy was sitting next to me..until Hanna came and hugged her, saying goodbye. I suddenly "get out" of my deep-thinking state, and I look forwards. I turn to Katy. "Katy..thanks for caring about me..when I was unconscious back at the hotel. Do you mind keeping a "secret", to put it this way?"

'That's good, Everett', I smiled

I started wondering if the military would ever get involved with this, you know, to look for survivors to make sure at least some of the human race was still alive.

I looked out of my window. I recognised the area very well.

'GUYS! Stop the bus! That's my uncles house!', I said excitedly pointing at the house on the corner.

'The windows and door are barricaded... Maybe they still alive!! We have to check, we just have to! Its my uncle who's gun I gave you, Julien. I have to see if he's okay- please!'

"Your uncles house? Sweet, I hope he don't minds if I check the garage for a car."

"Alright, let's make a stop here, but we need to check if it's safe before entering any houses.."
