Zombie Apocalypse (roleplay)

OOC: Yeah!! We are the biggest roleplay on the site Well done guys! Proud to be a part of it.

OOC: Not only the longest roleplay, but I assume it's the longest topic..I've seen a topic that is just close to this, and that is the counting forum game (just 100 posts behind us).

OOC: Woah- we're the longest thread on here?! Whoop whoop (I think, correct me if I'm wrong)!

I read the poetry book. I had always enjoyed Lord Byron, and finding one of his books was nice. I flicked through the pages, stopping to read a random poem, enjoying the metaphors and other techniques Byron used in his poem. Finishing the poem, I flicked through the pages again, before stopping at the start of a new poem. I looked at the first line, and stopped. Looking at it, it seemed different from the other lines. I seemed to connect with it, and what it meant made me think of the start of the apocalypse, about how my family was dead, my girlfriend, everyone I had known. I started running from the zombies, and eventually from my guilt, and I hadn't stopped running for the past 12 years. I put the book down, held my head in my hands, and started to cry. I had left everyone I had known to die. In one act of cowardice at the start, I essentially killed the people I loved. The tears ran down my eyes as I thought about the line from the poem, and what it meant to me.

There's not a joy the world can give like that it takes away...

IC: *i climb back into my room from the roof and say to myself*i better go get acquainted with the other survivors* i walk downstairs*

*sees cameron and walks over to him*

*looks through some instruments*

*grabs a chord for the guitar to hook it up to the surround system*

*i plug in the kord to the guitar and strum a key causing a very loud sound* ow that kinda hurt*i say as my ears ring from the sound*

IC: *i would just look around and spot an air ducin wich i swiftly run into breaking the whole cover making a very loud noises as i would be crawling around the
air ducts*

*Hears noises from above*

"The hell is that? Is there someone in the vents? I'll go check."

OOC: I'm sure it won't be boring; this shall continue for as long as these forums exist

IC:
*turns to Katy, and was about to say something, but hears noises all over the house*

Katy..wait here for a second..I'll go check the air vents..never thought anything would actually go in there; even though there's plenty of space, as they're kind of large. That sound is like someone..or something..is there, in the vents.

*takes his shotgun from Katy's bed, putting him on his shoulder*

We'll talk later.. I'd hang around and chat, but who knows what might be there..

*walks outside of the bedroom, going in the nearest vent and crawling inside, crawling throughout the vents*

I went up to the drums beside Cameron and his guitar. "Do you know Paranoid? We could play that before anyone requests", I said to Cameron, and smiled.

I'm in my bedroom looking outside, when suddenly I spotted a large group of zombie's heading this way, definately 50-70 zombie's. "Wow, how did they get here."
I walked downstairs to the intercom and said:

"Hey guy's I don't want to be a party crasher, but I think you have to get your guns and go outside, there is a large group of zombies coming this way. See you!"

(In vents, hears the intercom)

"Ah shit, just my lucky day..."

I hear Julien calling and grap my deagle and magnum and rush downstairs.

'FAHK YEAH! Finally, some action!'
