    • *finishes barricading the 2nd bedroom and takes the Diary from Julien*

Well..this should be interesting. I'll read it tomorrow, as I'm sure not only me but everyone else is tired enough..I can't even force myself to read today, I don't know how you do it. If you want, you can read it while you're on watch, and if not, just put it back and we'll all check on that tomorrow.

By the way, Ian, come to this bedroom, it's the only safe bedroom, not to mention Anna's bedroom, which is safe as well for now.

      Good Night everyone.

*heads downstairs into the basement, sets up his sleeping bag, places his shotgun near it, goes in the sleeping bad and falls asleep*
    • *i barricade the other window and make sure I locked both doors, then head to a bedroom*
*i find a book shelf in there and look through the shelf. I find an empty note pad. I take a pen from my bag and write:
'There's barely anyone around who survived the zombie virus. Parents eaten, friends infected, I used my cadet training to fight my way to safety. In case we don't make it, I'm writing this as a survival guide/ diary incase we don't make it... Who evers left MUST survive..'
    • Good morning guys, everyone had a good night?

"Alex, I red the diary almost all night, i found out that it's something about a expiriment with some chemicals, I'm not that big of a study guy but all I found out is that something has gone wrong, it might have to do something with the zombie virus. There was another lab on the other side of the city, this should be the key to answers about the virus, I know it for sure!"

"People will laugh at your dreams, then hate you when you made them come true."
    • I rub my eyes, and get up out of my bed, picking up my winchester and VSS. I walk down the stairs, and then into the kitchen. I look through the cupboards, and seeing some spam, I take it out. I pull the lid off, and start eating, trying to enjoy the canned ham as much as I can.
Take solace in the rain, my children. It only means I'm near.
    • *wakes up, dresses in his "outside" clothes, takes his shotgun and puts in his backpack the neccessary things for today's trip to the SuperMarket: Bags, Ammo and Two Pistols*

*goes upstairs, where Julien talks to him, telling him about the new-found diary*

We could go to a trip there in a couple of days. Julien and Ian, do you know how to set up a constant radio connection that broadcasts on all frequencies, and that has an output from all the other frequencies? I'd make it myself, but I'm currently heading out for food supplies. Here's an instruction manual on how to set that up:

*takes a manual from his backpack, an empty notepad and a few radio&electronic parts*

Also, here's a notepad; write everything that is heard on the radio there, for when we get back.

*hands Julien the manual, the empty notepad, and the other electronic&radio parts*

All right, Anna, I'm ready for this.

*goes to the front door, opening it for Anna*

By the way; while we're out, after you finish the radio setup, barricade the other windows from the 2 other bedrooms, the kitchen and the living room; nails are found in the basement, near my sleeping bag, and you could take some planks from the basement's floor. You could also take planks from the shed as we don't have any use currently for it. See you later!
    • "Got it, I'll fix the radio, I expiremented myself with some electronics before the apocalypse so I can handle this. Just be safe, you don't know what's out there. I'll write any usefull things."

"And I'll go trough the diary again, I want to fully understand it because there might be answers in it, I hope Ian can help me with it."

      "Good luck out there guys."

"People will laugh at your dreams, then hate you when you made them come true."
    • *We reach the market*
Wow- luckily this place is untouched...
We can't split up in here- its too big of an area to be lost in, and I'll bet there zombies around- only get meat your sure has not been opened and is fully packaged, meat is vunerable to infection after all..
*we walk over to the bakery*
LOOK! A storage door, I bet there is load of food back there.
    • As soon as Alex and Anna wen out, I started to read the manual for the radio, it's a bit complex but I'll figure it out.

"I'm starving, haven't eat for days" I thought, "I hope they come back soon with food.."

I'm suprised how well my leg goes, the pain is alot less then before, it's not 100% fixed but that's something you can't expect, ah well, let's just get back to the radio.

"People will laugh at your dreams, then hate you when you made them come true."
    • I wave goodbye to Alex and Anna as they leave. I felt concern for them, going out into the ruins, even having only known them for a day. I pushed those thoughts to the back of my head. I walked over to Julien and said,"Can I have a look at that diary. I might recognise something in there you might've missed. I'm not calling myself a scientist, but having several people read it would increase the chance of find out more about the virus. Even if I don't find anything, at least we got lucky in finding this. I mean, who would've thought we'd walk into the house of somebody working on the zombie virus. Hey, do you think the scientist who wrote that diary worked at that lab in the hotel? It might mean that other scientists working on the virus live in the neighbouring houses. I might see if I'm right after we fix the radio. On that matter, do you think the TV in the living room has any parts we could use. If there is a TV, I haven't been in there yet."

OOC: Does this group have a leader? Or does everybody just get along well enough that it isn't left to one person to make the desicisions?
Take solace in the rain, my children. It only means I'm near.
    • "Yea sure, it's always better to have more people to check it, in case I missed something. It could be possible it has some sort of connection, maybe there is a communication device in both labs, they must have communicated somehow with eachother. It does explain why scientists live nearby the lab, in case something happened."

*hands over the diary to Ian*

"here, have this pen, just mark every interesting thing you find. And if you want, check that room for a tv, I'll be reading this manual in the mean time."

"People will laugh at your dreams, then hate you when you made them come true."
