    • Kor wanted to crack another joke, he really did, but a sudden noise caught his attention. He stood bolt upright, fully aware of his surroundings.
      "Too late, the storm's arrived."
      He doubted CJ could hear it, but a large horde of zombies shambled along slowly and noisily some distance away, no doubt drawn by the earlier gunfire. There wasn't much time before they arrived.

      He walked much faster than before, and arrived at the safehouse in no time.
      At the front door were some leftover molotovs, the ones he'd made earlier. Kor took the last three, and handed two to CJ.
      "Take these, they'll help. Get inside and stay quiet. The horde might just pass us by if we don't do anything stupid. I'll go look for the other three."

      You know, most people call me insane...
      That's what happens when I try to reason with people, they don't like it, and I eventually end up turning them to charcoal in the end...

      Why are you looking at me like that?

You see, I don't DO sitting quiet and doing nothing. I don't know how far they are, but if I notice you're not able to get to your friends in time... *grin* It will be a god damn rampage, and there is nothing you can do about it. *take one molotov and spill the content evenly across the street in two a bit separated lines* When shit hits the fan, I'll only need one of these babies. *instead of getting inside, notice a lower built grocery shop and start climbing up using trash container and a kennel. Reach the top and stare at Kor* Well? What are you waiting for? You want me to beg? *ordering voice* The time would be NOW, soldier. Move that hodded ass of yours! I don't wanna stand up for a god damn slacker!
      On the outside I may appear like an emotionless sarcastic piece of shit, but just like an onion, when you peel off more layers, you find the exact same thing every single time and you start crying.

    • "Ah, right, how dumb of me to give a so- FORMER soldier orders. I'd suggest staying inside, now I know how you feel about that, so..."
      Kor climbed up after CJ, climbing up a dumpster, then grabbing the ledge of the roof and pulling himself up.
      "Don't mind me, this just covers more ground..."

      He paused for a brief second.
      "I do like the way you think, though, nice and insane."
      Kor then took off at a run, leaping to the next building.

      He felt completely awesome, leaping from rooftop to rooftop, and the hooded man wondered why he'd never tried this before.
      Probably because of the constant threat of falling and breaking his everything.

      It didn't take long to find Ori and Skyler. They weren't that far.
      "Good, they're fine, as far as physical health goes. Plus, they have the right idea... Now to find that kid..."

      He found Erathur bleeding out on another rooftop, a dead bandit laying a few feet away from him. That wasn't the worst part, though.
      The worst part was the knife sticking out of his stomach. He'd be dead before long with those wounds.
      Still, he couldn't just leave him there.

      Carrying the kid, by the way, turned out to be a major pain in the ass as it forced him down to travel on the ground, and therefore put him at risk of an attack.
