Zombie Apocalypse (roleplay)

I got out of the bus and stared in disbelief. Julien?!

"Hello", I said coldly to him.

I turned back around to face Alex.

"That way", I pointed East.

I start driving East. Julien was following the bus with the pickup truck. In no time, we reach the wood cabins. I stop the bus. "We're here!" I say through the intercom as I open all the storage compartments and the bus doors. I walk out of the bus and get my shotgun ready; I start checking all the wood cabins.

*takes out an katana*
*starts looking through the cabins*
Hmm... this seems like a ghost town.

I look inside one of the cabins. As I fight through the cobwebs I notice a skeleton sat on the chair, facing the fireplace. "I wonder how they died, and why are they just sat there."

I stepped out of the car and walked to Anna. "Hey, couldvI talk to you in private later?" without waiting for an answer I walked to the rest with my shotgun and checked if everything was clear.

After walking towards the cabin with the others and seeing the place through, I turned back to Julien.

"Yes. If you want, we can talk in private."

"Hey Anna, can you come here for a minute?"

I walked away from the group and waited for Anna to follow me.

I followed Julien.

"Yes? Why do you want to speak to me?"

"Hey, I just wanted to say sorry that I left. I want to say this to the group aswell but I got something for you."

I reached for my pocket and took a little box out of it, I opened it and it showed a golden necklace.

"I wanted to give it to you earlier but I kinda forgot about it so I just wanted to give it now."


OOC: Forget about the dog I mentioned, she left and shit.

OOC: Lol, ok.
IC: "Are all the cabins clear?" I shout to the others also checking the cabins.

I went into one cabin, there was a decaying corpse and a lot of cobwebs and dust.

"No zombies here, it's filthy as hell though."

OOC: Seems legit n' shit

I looked down at the box in his hands. It contained a little gold necklace. I gently took it and stared at it.

"Thank you. Not just for this, for coming back."

"I'm sorry I left.. the least I could do was bringing some needs for the group I got lucky I ran into it."

"Well, I kind of stole it."

IC: looks like were gonna have a party to clean this town up. lol
i think all the houses are clear.
OOC: if i counted correctly lol please correct me if im wrong on the following lol
*looks over the houses*

hey looks like there are 10 houses and 9 of us so everyone could have a house and we have an extra for any newcomers or supplies*

OOC : Hey, can I join the roleplay? Havn't read through it all, but I take it you are all (10 of you?) at some wood cabins, which you have just found, and which appear to be deserted? I'll start off not being with you, until I understand where the story's at. Feel free to correct me at any time

Also, not all my posts will be this long, this was only the first, so I wanted to let you know a bit about me, while still playing along with the story. I may, though, occasionally write a diary entry, providing my characters personal thoughts..


IC : *Writes into personal diary, which is kept on him at all times*

" I noticed smoke in the distance yesterday, and I've been moving towards it since. I don't know what to think, or what to expect. More survivors would be good to meet up with, but I worry that they might be walkers. I must push these thoughts to the back of my mind however, smoke means someone started the fire, which means that there still may be supplies there. Nevertheless, I did not risk a fire tonight, but ate only berries that I could forage"

*Sighs, and takes account of personal belongings, adding notes to occupy himself"

1 short-sword " I remember the history museum from where I took this. The sword has served me well"
1 small knife " My trusty knife, perfect for cooking, and stabbing animals.
1 small messenger bag type rucksack " My only reminder of my school days, all lost now.."
1 small stone, with deep grooves etched into it "Something I picked up on the road, keeps my weapons sharp"
1 small bottle " I picked this up from a shop somewhere, it has proved to be sanitary so far"
1 converse shoes "not very practical, but comfortable enough"
1 dark blue jeans " Comfortable, but don't allow much stretching room, and also make a slight swish noise when walked in"
1 light black jumper " Very comfortable, loose and keeps me moderately warm"
1 thick black jumper " Pretty comfortable, keeps me warm, but has white logos on the front, hindering camouflage attempts"
1 small orange gem-stone " My closest possession, given to me by my father, before he turned"
1 diary, with a small pack of pens " My only friend, a way to record my voice and talk to someone, even if it is myself"

*packs away items, and climbs a tree, finding a sturdy branch to sleep the night on, and settles down to sleep*

*gets a strange feeling someone is watching her*
*shrugs it off*
*stomach growls*
*relizes she hasnt eaten in a week*
*takes an apple*
*thinks "hmm if ihavent eaten in forever i wounder how long it is since everyone else has eaten.... maybe i can suprise them with an special super!"*

OOC: We are all in Alaska at 10 wood cabins, and we're 9. Also, Welcome!
IC: "All right, we probably need to start cleaning these wood cabins and light a fire in each of those. Firewood can be found in the back of the pickup truck Julien found. All of you, pick a cabin. Each cabin can house between one to four people from what I've seen so far." I say.
