Zombie Apocalypse (roleplay)

Looking in the distance I could see smoke. "They're probally there.. How would they react?" I thought. "Well, at least I have some useful things with me." I looked at the pick up truck I found. It was full with food, blankets, wood and other stuff.

I got in the truck and looked beside me. "Welcome to your new home." I said to the dog next to me.

"Haha, thanks Hana!", I rubbed my ankle, accepted the coat and walked back to camp.

"Hey guys? I think I saw a set of wood cabins out in the forest. I thought that they could maybe house us for a while?"

*gets back to camp*
hey that woluld be an awesome base.

"We could camp there." I say. "But first, we need to check it out." I say as I get up and put my shotgun on my shoulder. "Let's start packing" I say as I start packing up the tents, one by one.

*starts packing*

I helped to pack the stuff, and remembered that I had left one of my guns out in the forest.

"I'll be right back, guys!!"

I ran deep into the forest and grabbed my gun. But, then I saw something in my periferal vision.. I think it's a pickup truck? I hadn't noticed it there before.. I walked back to camp, slightly confused..

"Moving already? Alright."

I pack stuff. That's it.

I pack my essentials and load my weapons.

"Guys.. I think I saw a truck.. Out there", I pointed towards the distance.

"We could head that way" I say as we finish packing the tents and the electrical fence. I take the generator and put it in one of the storage compartments as well. "Everyone in the bus! We're going to that pickup truck." I say as I take the driver's seat and turn on the engine. The engine wasn't starting. I keep trying a couple of times and it finally goes on.

"Okay."

I helped Alex pack up the stuff into the bus, and hopped on board.

"Right, it's in that direction", I pointed in the direction that the bus was already facing.

*hops on the roof of the bus*

I stand near the driver's seat. "We have to be careful. Whoever is in there could be hostile."

*hops off the roof and sits in the drivers seat.*

OOC: I was already in the driver's seat, lol.
IC: "All right." I say as I start driving that way. After a minute we reach the pickup truck. The windows were frozen; I couldn't see inside. I open the bus doors, walk outside and start walking towards the pickup. It was full of supplies in the back. I get my shotgun ready. It probably was warm inside so if there was a zombie in there, it could attack us. I slowly open the door and I notice someone there that wasn't a person. "Julien?" I ask. I was speechless; but also relieved he was alive.

*hops off the roof and sees the pickup*

Julien?

"hey guys, what's up? I found this in a small town nearby, thought you might want some."

"it's good to see you guys, is everyone oke?"

"Julien! Never thought I'd see you again."

"We're all fine..more or less." I say. "Could you follow the bus with the pickup? We're heading for some wood cabins; we'll talk there. Good to see you again!" I say as I walk in the bus. "It's Julien; we'll talk with him as soon as we reach the cabins. Anna, which way for the wood cabins?" I ask.
