Zombie Apocalypse (roleplay)

    • Good Morning, Anna, although it's night. Anyways, let's search this house thoroughly, this is our next shelter.

      *hands Anna his other sawn-off shotgun, and takes his AK47 off his back in his hands, proceeding cautiously*

      As soon as we're securing this house, we're starting to talk about what happened, but until then, we have to get his house completely secure and clear of zombies.

      *notices a staircase that only leads downstairs*

      Well, this house is small, so it doesn't have a first floor, but at least it has a basement! *whispers*

      *starts searching every room in the house, leaving the basement alone*

      Anna and Gonzo, head downstairs to the basement and make sure that is clear of zombies or anything.

      *hands Anna a flashlight*

      OOC: Let's vote on how many bedrooms our shelter will have (upstairs): 4, 3 or 2? Also, It has a kitchen and a living room, and the basement will be left for Gonzo and Anna to reveal (i.e. decide what the basement has).

    • "quick, let's go in this room" i said to Ian. We quickly ran into what it looked like a magazine. There were loads of medicine. "well, that was easy." i said. We locked the door to make sure othing could come inside there was a window in the door, i looked for some sort of cloth to put in front of the window.

      "oke, lets grab what we need and get the hell out of here, I bet the others are waiting for us, i hope they're oke.."

      We grabbed every useful thing in the room, it was dark, but we found a flashlight.

      "i suggest we stay here for the night, i don't want to be outside in the dark, what do you think?'

      "People will laugh at your dreams, then hate you when you made them come true."

    • *finishes exploring the whole house but the basement, and heads back in the hallway*

      Anna, I'll go check on Gonzo if you don't need any help*whispers*

      *starts slowly walking downstairs, whispering to Gonzo: "It's me, I'll help you check this area in case anything shows up."

      OOC: So this house has a kitchen, a living room and 4 bedrooms upstairs and the basement is still to be revealed (though we have some ammo and bandages there)

      *goes for the exit (may get lost again ^.^)

      (sorry but i was kinda out of internet and i hope i didn't miss much : D)

    • I turn to Julien after we searched the room. We'd found antibiotics, bandages, and a flaslight. I said,"Wait a mintue I'll just find a medical brace for your broken leg and then we can get going. I don't want to spend the night here."
      I walked back into the storage room, and started looking. We were quite lucky to find this so quickly, I thought to myself. Why was it close to the lobby? Wouldn't storage be secure, deep inside the hospital? Unless they needed the supplies close at hand. Which meant this wasn't the main lobby, but was more likely the Accident and Emergency part of the hospital. It would explain why it was so close to the entrance, and was mostly antibiotics, painkillers and bandages, rather than IV drips and drugs used for other illnesses. But if this was the A&E department, wouldn't that mean that at the start of the infection, people with bites would've come straight here? I quickly looked through the storage room, and grabbed the first brace I saw. I then ran out and headed for the exit. I grabbed Julien, and led him outside.
      "This isn't the main lobby, it's the A&E. Which means we just walked into the part of the hospital where anybody who got bitten would be taken. We were lucky we didn't walk into a horde of those things in there."
      I let go of Julien, and continued walking across the car park.

      OOC: I found just finding the supplies so easy a bit unrealistic, so I thought I'd add an explanation which made sense, and added a bit of horror over how close we got ourselves to getting killled.

      IC: "Geez, well, we didn't checked that because we were in a hurry, we are lucky indeed. Thanks for the brace by the way, this should make walking a bit easier. We should go back to the place we split up with the rest, they might left some sort of hint where they were going."

      We walked towards the house, it was quiet on the street, nothing you'd expect in a zombie apocalypse, I remember from movies that the streets were full of zombie's but I only saw abandoned cars and other stuff. it was creepy though, it was dark, quiet, something just wasn't right. Everything was so different, I remembered my friends, they were caught by those zombie's.. I'm lucky I found these guys otherwise i was screwed.

      "This guy Ian, he's smart." I thought, "I wonder what he did before the apocalypse.

      "Hey Ian, what was your life like before all this?" I asked him as we continued walking to the house.

      "People will laugh at your dreams, then hate you when you made them come true."

    • "What was it like? I used to work as a software engineer before the outbreak. I lived in a town about a dozen miles from here. I had a couple of friends, my parents lived in a retirement home that's nowhere near here. That's all there is to say, I guess. My life wasn't that interesting. I made my way here two weeks ago", I said, before adding in sharply,"On my own, I mean."
      Take solace in the rain, my children. It only means I'm near.

    • "Ah, pretty normal life as I hear."

      "Alright we're there, I hope they find a good shelter, and I hope it's nearby, these bags weighs tons."

      "Stay outside, I'll check if there is anything inside the house."

      As I stand near the house, I looked trough a window, it was dark, I think I saw something in the corner, I don't know what it was so I had to be careful. I opened the door, silently walking into the house with my machete ready. As I approached the beast it became clear wat it was, it was a bunny.. I guess it came looking for some food. "Sorry little guy, I can't take any risks." I thought, and I chopped its head off with my machete.

      "Oke, it's clear!" I shouted to Ian

      We quickly began searching the area for a hint where the others could be.
