I open Hanna's bag and take out her laptop, I switch it on and hand it to her to log in.

I wake up feeling like I didn't sleep at all, but I didn't drop back, I just stared at my necklace I was holding.

I quickly hid my necklace under my shirt, before turning to look at Katy. "Hey, we've never talked properly since the day you saved me."

I look out the window. Snow was actually falling. I look at the calendar..and it was December indeed, which meant it was winter. We'd be freezing in Alaska.. But the good part is, the next year is coming soon. It'll be awesome celebrating the new year's eve. We even have wine. But I don't think we're going to Alaska at this rate. "So, Kira, what exactly is your dad's base? What would we find there?" I ask. Out the window, I could see zombies moving at the windows of houses, trying to break in, other zombies just strolling around the street which we rammed into with our bus..the usual.
