Would I be interested in specifically a girl gamer? No. I'm not going to watch someone just because of their gender, so I fail to see why you're asking everyone if they'd like to see one doing commentary. To me it's just the same as a guy doing commentary. So, go ahead and start a channel IF you feel that's what you want to do and you think it would be fun. DON'T do it just because you're wanting there to be more female gamers doing commentary. Talent and wit should carry commentators, not chromosome differences.
    Intelligence at its finest.
Listen to her and go far.
  • There's no difference between girl and boy in gaming. So, I can't really suggest you a game. Just play the game that you enjoy.
Believe it or not.. my best friend.. a girl, 17 years old.. was once make a LP video of the uncensored Manhunt 2 on PC, but she never upload it.. it just for fun. She doesn't have a YT channel, though.

I''m very interested to watch your vid, since there still not many female video game Let's Player.

  • Ughhh okay the point has already been made, there's no difference whether it's a gal or a guy making commentaries. So stop. Already three fucking pages of this negativity. So instead let's suggest her some games?

So if you're interested in horror games there's lots of them coming out all the time, so you should keep an eye on what other youtubers are posting, various news sites, forums etc. Slender games are getting kind of old because of the ridiculous amount of let's play-videos on youtube and many have perhaps been inspired by them to start their own channels... like I was at one point! So perhaps looking for a similar kind of short indie game is a freshed idea :) You could also try to play some old classics, like Silent Hill 2. Personally I'd love to see a commentary of that and Pewdie never got to finish it.

If it really turns out to be your new passion don't let other people's opinions let you down :) Good luck!
  • Hey you :)
I just can say play games that YOU want to play ;) That was the way I started and I had no problems with that not many peoples watching my live stream!
But then I started to play LoL because everybody likes this game so much. I don't like the game very much but i played I had more viewers.
I stopped playing games I actually don't like that much since I get really unhappy playing somethig only for viewers.. !
Then I thougth about what is really important about doing such stuff... HAVING FUN :D

So play what ever you want to play! If you are happy while playing and recording the video the people will watch it!!! And you are not disappointed when only a few watches your
videos when you still have fun doing them ((((:

    I wish you luck!!!!

  • It isn't rare to see a girl like video games (i am a living proof) there are loads of them in the whole world, and you aren't the only one.
So i was wondering if you guys would be interested to see a girl play games.
DO NOT ADD GIRL NEAR GAMER!
I knew that rule ever since i got into Gaming, GAMER stands for BOTH GENDERS.
Do you think you can say, 'Bro girl'? Or 'Girl Bro'? No. Same goes for 'Gamer'
Your A Gamer, I am a Gamer, We are all gamers! End Of Story.

  • Since you've already gotten the idea: "Hey I could make commentary-gaming-videos!?" I suggest that you start making some!
All you need is a mic, and a screen capturing program like FRAPS. (And maybe a webcam, so people can get your reaction!)

I found this WikiHow subject on being a succesful Let's Play'er, not saying it's something that can taught so easily, but it might
just give you a good start, and something to think about: wikihow.com/Do-a-Let's-Play

And as with everything else in this world "practice makes the pros" - so get going, find out if you like doing it, and then just
keep on doing it. I hope the link might help you.

    Cheers, Sven Le Sausage.

P.s send me a link to your videos when you start uploading.

  • If you want to do commentary, start with a game that you like, and forget what gender you are. When you see a good gamer play and/or do commentary, you don't think "He/she plays like a guy/girl." A gamer plays the game and enjoy what he does. That's all :).
Have you seen a tea party taken to a whole
new level? Well my tea party features the usual stuff (tea, cake,
pastries...) mixed with video games, monsters, ghosts, blood and lots of
    screams and giggles.

Don't be shy and join the party, there's room for everyone! Here's the path to

  • You can be a very good gamer, the things what you have to do, is ENJOY IT. I mean enjoy playing with those games what you want to record, enjoy editing your videos and stuff. Don't act like somebody else, be yourself. Be "crazy" like Pewdiepie. That is PewDie's secret, he said that too.
